They advertise jobs on Craig's List, then respond to a person applying. This is what they tell you:

Wow, thanks for the quick reply! I briefly looked over your background and you would be a great fit for the position. You do not need to file a formal application, as we automate applications from your resume. The next step is a brief credit history (necessary for equal opportunity and Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance).

To do this:

1)Go to our website: www.employedtoday.info
2)Click on 'Credit Report'
3)Click on the link to go to our third-party credit supplier. Keep in mind, this report will not be seen by anyone outside of the HR department and will in no way influence the hiring decision.

Also, if you could let me know your availability I will schedule a brief (30-minute) first interview, so I can tell you more about the job and find out if you have any preliminary questions.

Thanks,
Christy
Upon going to that site, if you did their credit report thing, you would then be charged $15.00 per month. I emailed her a response and the reply was just the same as the first email she sent. Pretty automated - no humans at that office.
This is all just another SCAM to get poor people to pay money for jobs that are probably not there at all.
