customs division kept my GIFT and Ask money for paid 125 0usd

i had send sum gift to my fren in Mumbai date; october 31st 2010...the tracking number "ee333833708CN"...after we get the status" Your item was handed over to Customs(REPUBLIC OF INDIA MUMBAI PAR) at 2010-11-03 12:30:00"then until November 10th 2010 he not received tht gift.and he decided for take from EMS India post office..
wat asuprise tht Customs officer has open tht gift and ask sum money 1250USD IF HE WANT THT GIVE...its becoz only i sent to him sum watches..
that officer name Mr.BHAGWAT..he said its for Taxes..He even ask my fren to show the bill of the gift...
wat the fuck government officer there..then until now my fren didnt get his gift.
really bad attitudes from Customs officer there..He sudnt open tht gift and why he asking sum money 1250 USD for pay...really crazzy

Non functioning of your website for tracking status of parcel delivery

I booked a parcel for USA from Mumbai post office located at Powai IIT by EMS. My tracking number is EMO88992820IN and date of booking is 12/12/09. Every time I try to track the status, a message comes: details not available.
When I booked the parcel, I was told that it takes 5 working days to deliver. So at least I should know where the parcel is and reason for delay. All international couriers can be easily tracked on their respective websites so why not India EMS service? Please reply.
