I cancelled supplies that I receive every few months, whether I need them or not. I have called them several times and let them know that I do not need any replacement supplies, since the electrodes can be used many times
and batteries can be bought much cheaper locally, as well as the wipes can
be bought locally much cheaper as well as the lotion. My doctor or myself never requested batteries, wipes or lotion, and there was never any question as to how often I would need electrode replacement. I used the same electrodes for one year at a rehab facility, so why would I need them monthly? How can they send batteries, wipes and lotion which is NOT doctors orders, and my permission was never asked? Since I always have health insurance, batteries, wipes and lotions are NEVER covered, and NEVER ordered and nothing is sent Free of Charge... On the last Explanation of Benefits the Electrode charge was $195.12 and DME Delivery-Set Up is $30.00. I received the initial unit from my therapist directly, and I never have met anyone from EMS. Since the padded envelope is very light and there isn't any DME Set Up, What is $30.00 for? The evelope is 8" X 9" and is lightly padded for the electrodes. I cancelled their service totally, since I have enough electrodes for 15 years. I cancelled on June 6th and coincidentally I receive another electrode envelope on the 11th? On their printed postage stamp (label) on the envelope it states on the left top line
" Change Service Requested". This makes me think that my cancellation triggered EMSI to immediately send another shipment to charge once more. When I called an cancelled on June 6th, I was told that there would not be any more shipments sent and it was cancelled. The delivery confirmation number is 9102 9324 7188 1002 2529 43 with USPS. PLEASE HELP ME RETURN THIS LATE SHIPMENT AND RECEIVE CREDIT, and hopefully EMSI should always get approval from customers
before sending batteried, lotion and wipes, and always get approval from customers for the usage need to reorder, not just automatically pick a delivery timetable that is best for EMSI making a profit.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Barbara Delia
