Red Envelope Rewards
After making a purchase on Red Envelope in December, I was offered a Rewards Program. I remember looking it over and it appeared to be free. I was surprised when I saw a $14.95 charge on my credit card. Shame on me when I thought it must be an annual charge and I would deal with it later. Now, four months later, I see they have charged $14.95 every month. I got no e-mail or packages in the mail about this program. I have no idea what I get for $14.95 per month and worse, I have no idea how to cancel it. If you call Red Envelope's customer service number, they tell you to call someone else! What a ripoff! I doubt I will ever shop Red Envelope again. I thought it was a reputable company!

unauthorized charge to my credit card
I noticed a charge of $14.95 on my American Express that began after I ordered Christmas gifts online through Red Envelope. It shows as "Red Envelope Rewards" and the vendor is Encore Mktg. It apparently is a cost to be able to use rewards??? It's a total ripoff!

charged my credit card $60.00/mo.
encoremarketing.com charged my credit card for over one year a total of 59.60/ mo. for absolutely no services. they piggybacked on a free trial foreclosure service i canceled after 30 days because it was also worthless. they returned about 160.00 but refuse to return the other $712.80 they owe me. they know that what they do is fraudulent but have such a lucrative scam going that they seem to feel they are insulated. i will take them to court if i have to. i will not accept this type of credit card fraud.

Fradulant charges
Noticed two separate charges since April 2008 for $14.95 each. Vendor was listed as EZSVER and Passporttofun.
I called Encore Marketing (through research on this site). 800-444-9800. Requested to speak with management. Rep came back and said they would call back in 24 hours. I said I'd hold (they're paying for the call). About 10 minutes later, Julie, a consumer rep said she would reverse all the charges back to April. I got a cancellation number. I also told her about this site and the others that have trashed the Proflowers.com name. I told her I would let this site know the progress and whether the charges are reversed in "7-10 days". I'll repost as soon as it happens.

Rip off
My wife and I were going over our credit card bill and found a charge of $14.95 being applied EVERY MONTH by this 'Encore Marketing International' in Lanham MD. I have disputed the charge to the credit card company but the number provided by Encore Marketing only gets a voicemail recording. We do not ever remember authorizing this charge and at this point urge anyone who has not done so to scan their credit card statement for anything from Encore Marketing, and tell the credit card company to remove the charge immediately. Who knows how much money we have lost? It's outrageous and we can't afford to not have this money.

marketing scam
I ordered flowers online through Proflowers and then was somehow signed up for some kind of membership on a "free trial" basis and then charged $14.95 every month thereafter by Encore Marketing. I don't remember checking that box and perhaps it was "conveniently" already checked for me and I never unchecked it. I never wanted to be part of their discounts, coupons or special deals.
I called the phone number provided immediately after seeing the charge and discontinued my membership. They didnt reimburse my charge though. My husband was upset and he called our credit card company. They removed the charges and credited our account. This is a total scam and it makes me mad that people get charged for stuff they don't even know about or want. In my opinion it's stealing.

charging my credit card without my authorization
purchased flowers from ProFlowers on line and they offer free shipping. When I did that free shipping.com charged $1.95 on my credit card(without my authorization) Have spoken to them and they are supposed to credit my account. However I went on today and found $1.00 each posted for insiders club and encore market. This is some gimmick they use. I want to be sure that my account is credited. My credit card was supposed to be use for my flowers I ordered only.
