At first glance, this seems like a great bunch (and maybe it is). Offers that sound too good to be true -- but look like they just might BE true. (However, they're affiliate with (owned by??) Amazon, so I ordered from them reluctantly. I said 'get lost' to Amazon after two experiences of crappy service and staff ignorance about the products and availability.)

This is about endless's "Free Two Day Shipping" come-on. It's one of their big, conspicuous lures. . . and I feel it's misleading. For orders placed on four out of seven days of the week, delivery will not be in two days (assuming shipment the day following online submission of the order).

Like many companies these days, endless seems to believe the myth that USPS (the Postal Service) can do no right. The truth is, they're just as reliable, timely and economical as UPS and FedEx (which so many retailers now use exclusively). In many cases, USPS is cheaper. More important for this discussion, USPS STILL HAS SATURDAY DELIVERY.

The fact that endless will not use USPS (a fact that is not disclosed on their order pages) means that many, of not all, orders submitted on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday will NOT arrive two days after shipment. (In fairness, I have to acknowledge that most reasonable, informed adults understand that, no matter what shipper is used, a parcel shipped on a Friday will not arrive on Sunday -- unless, of course, one of the premium, high-priced services has been purchased. However, that still leaves three ordering days per week that will result in delivery that is actually three, or even four, days after shipping.

Endless, your heart seems to be in the right place, but you need to be more up front about who you use and who you don't use, and provide some conspicuous disclaimers in regard to your Too-Good-To-Be-Completely-True shipping come-ons.
