I worked for Energy Improvements until a better run outfit came along. While I still do the same clean, honest work I did before, I don't wait 6 weeks to get paid anymore. There is a complete lack of organization with this company. I installed two jobs for them in November that I still have not been paid on, and it's mid April now? When I inquired about it the first time, I was told that they paid the salesman Bobby Melton, who in fact, didn't even sell a job the week in question. So therefore I was to get paid by him. He blocked my phone number when I tried to get what was owed me. So I went back to the source, who, in reality is responsible for getting me paid. I was THEN informed that I was paid on these jobs and that it was taken out of Mr. Melton's pay. I was told $604.49 (when in reality it was 1925 and 1960 sq ft. @ $.16 on two power mizers at $50 a piece = $721.60, you do the math) was deposited in my account on February 24th, 2010. There was no such deposit. Anyone feeling the need to have it proven to them that this company practices bad business, I will be MORE than happy to copy and paste my inquiry into deposits in my account between Feb. 15th and March 15th if you'd like to contact me at
[email protected]. I've seen the petty complaints about Mike Jr. and Mike Sr. and these two men actually KNOW how to organize. Maybe Mr. Light and the rest should have actually listened to them. I have EVERY email sent to me from their "accounting department", and I'd also be more than happy to send DETAILED information about their lies. My point of this post: simply put. I'm not a real religious man which EI claims to be, but I'm an HONEST man, and believe that actions speak volumes. If a company like Energy Improvements would treat someone doing business with them as a contractor like this, do you really think it would be any different for their customers. Now I'm sure you'll hear a bunch of complaints about me as an installer, probably contrived and typed up by an EI associate, like they did about the Bresnihans, but I beg you to email me, inquire, before you spend the money.
