harassing rude calls
I was sent to collections for a verizon bill to a place called ER SOLUTIONS. Isnt this illegal? To call in a threatening manner. I had the WORST phone call from these people. Screaming at me, carrying on about all kinds of rediculous comments. I was UNBELIEVABLE! I called Verizon and told them all this stuff that had went on with their collections agency. She actually called them on a conference call with me and got me directly to the manager and the manager gave me the direct line to discuss my bill with him and he is personally taking over my account. He said immediately following our conversatiobn he was going to find out who made the call and get to the bottom of it. If he did or not I do not know. While I appreciate his help it does NOT excuse the way the employees are conducting themselves. We are all going through tough times these days & it is not pretty, I dont need that. I would recommend ANYONE dealing with this place and getting these terrible calls to contact the better business b. and follow that call up with a call to the original company you owe the money to, although they have written the account off to a collections agency I dont believe they would approve this behavior on their behalf. They can possibly direct you to a manager (if you just call and ask for a manager they hang up on you at ER). Good luck & God Bless!

Harrassing. Error
ER Solutions continues to harass with automated calls at all hours. Difficult to get them on the phone to stop them. They are calling me to harass for a collection in error for Dish Network. Shame on Dish Network for using the agency. I am not the person they are looking for and have never heard of such a person. They should be banned and fined.

very unethical and rude
i just received a call from er solutions and she told me that I was a liar and i needed to pay my unpaid Verizon bill. I told her I would make payment arrangements and she said I would have to pay by Friday. I told her I would not have money for a few weeks and I could postdate for a later date. she said that it was unacceptable and said I have money coming in and to get a loan. I stated I could not and she said that I was unwilling to pay and hung up on me. Very rude throughout the conversation and would not even allow me to speak to a manager.

Rude liars
In January of this year my wife received a call in our home from Maria at ER Solutions. Maria stated that she was trying to verify some information regarding a past due credit card account in my name. Maria told my wife that the card was opened in 1996 and gave my wife a very specific address in Torrance, CA that the account was opened from.

Today I spoke to a Terrence at ER Solutions to follow up with them because the must call my house at least once a day. Terrence, aside from not giving me a moment to get a word in edgewise kept telling me to "look forward" don't live in the past. "A lot of people just pay the bill even if it is not there's just to have us stop calling and just to get the mark off of there credit report". I tried to ask him when this account was opened and from where but he went into his rant about me looking forward and not to the past. That I must just deal with it and just pay the bill. He finally did tell me that the account was opened in 2003. I said that is incongruent with the information that Maria gave my wife last month. He then proceeded to tell me that Maria never had that conversation with my wife. One of the strangest things that he said was "this is America and I can keep calling you al I want until you pay this bill".

Where does ER Solutions get these people? How are they compensated?

Harrassing Phone Calls
I answered my phone several times to a recorded message advising me to call (800) 989-2807. First of all, I have no idea who the person is they were asking for and have never known anyone by that name. I called the number and proceeded to tell someone by the name of Alysia this and politely asked my name to be removed from this listing. Needless to say, she was very rude and hung up on me. I called back. To my dismay, the same individual answered the phone. I told her that I would like to file a formal complaint with her company and asked to speak to a supervisor. She hung up on me yet again. I tried to call back several times to no avail. This company needs to be stopped. Tatics of this nature are entirely unacceptable!

Rudeness, harassment of rep
I received a recorded message looking for me with my maiden name, now mind you, I haven't gone by that name in 20 years.
Apparently she said I owed money to Gantos, I haven't had a Gantos account since I was 21 years old, they are not even in business anymore. I told her I hqave had credit reports run, worked for an investment firm and bought 4 houses since then. She then said, and I quote "just because you bought 4 houses doesn't mean you pay your bills" I then said I absolutely pay my bills, I make 100K a year, why wouldn't I pay my bills. I said that becuase of the economy you are most likely creating something out of the woodwork and I have no idea what you are talking about since I owe Gantos nothing. She told me, and I quote again "apparently the economy hasn't hurt you like the rest of us" and I said if you call me again I will call the police...she told me that I was a deadbeat and to stop making excuses!
This would be a 20 year old bill if it is a bill at all...and if I owed something like that to anyone I would assume it would be with at least one of the reporting agencies...I don't have great credit because of my divorce but everything has been paid off that was owed prior to and after that...
Who the heck are these people and how aree they allowed to harass people without so much as telling them details of anyting???????
I would like to report them to the Attorney General's office

Bad calls
I have gotten some very scary, threatening phone calls leaving messages for me to return the call within 24 hours, "OR ELSE!", or with my sister, a message was left, "she has 24 hours to call me back, OR ELSE!" Of course, my sister was afraid (she was housesitting and had no idea what that was about!) She called me and I called back IMMEDIATELY, left a message, and WAS NOT CALLED BACK for a week, and was then called by a completely different person. THIS person was much nicer, and I agreed to pay my debt in full (a bounced check I was not even aware of that someone bounced on ME, not even my check, that had put my petty cash bank account into overdrawn status) He agreed to fax me a letter stating that this debt had been paid in full by the next day. It is now 3 days later and I have not received a fax and he cannot be reached by phone. Ridiculous! And they want to question our sense of ethics?

Harassment
We have received numerous calls from ER Solutions looking for a person who we do not know, have never known and yet, despite telling a company rep that no such person lives here and they must have the wrong number, the calls continue. We have reported them to www.ftc.gov (federal trade commission) which I suggest everyone who has a complaint against them do the same. ER Solutions leaves a message for a person with an 800 call back number, but when you call back, it doesn't do any good, as they just ignore your request to stop the calls. Each person we have talked to says our number is not in the system, well, it has to be somewhere as they keep calling! UGH, morons, true morons.

Terrible experience
AREN'T THEY ABLE TO READ OR UNDERSTAND ENGLISH? I bought and returned a Dell computer. There was some type of internet set up by Dell which I didn't use. Actually, the computer was such that I couldn't use it, so I returned it and got my money back.

Ages later, these people call me and tell me I owe money for an internet service I neither ordered nor used, and on a computer I did not buy!

Scam and cheating
I had a death in the family and in an emergency pulled out more than i had in my checking account. I knew I had to pay it back and would owe the overdraft fee. Before I even I got my next statement (which I was going to use to determine how much i owed after the bank fees) I was getting calls from Er solutions. When I called back to pay the debt, they wouldn't talk to me! It was a joint account and they only showed my husbands name. It took me three hours on the phone with the bank who was also on the line with ER solutions to get the matter corrected! They were so rude. I understand that the money was owed and that some people can come up with some horrible excuses but there is no reason/excuse to be rude to people they are dealing with for the first time. Being rude won't make the money i owe magically appear out of nowhere. I only hope that the people that work there are never in a situation where they owe someone after a family emergency.
