Wow - this airline SUCKS! We just booked tickets. We were given a total price for the ticket and had to put in our credit card. AFTER THAT, they take you through a bunch of screens where THEY ADD ON FEES for luggage and a SEAT!
We didn't even complete the transaction and realized all these fees were PLUS, PLUS, PLUS to the amount we agreed to. We called customer service and the guy was a total jerk. The transaction was not even done but he said if we just cancelled they would charge us a $110.00 cancellation fee. We asked him why they didn't disclose the total price up front and he couldn't answer. We asked him how we were supposed to fly without luggage or seats - Like Cattle? Standing Up? Clutching our Bags?
We asked for a supervisor and he refused to put one through. I'm writing our Attorney General. THESE GUYS ARE AWFUL. They will get one trip out of me FOR LIFE. Don't book with Spirit Air and tell your friends and family that their website is misleading and they tack on fees.
