While attempting to set up on-line bill pay for our Qwest account, I noticed on the last page of my bill charges for $14.95 from ESBI for Enhanced Telecommunications. To learn more about this company and it's services and charges I "googled" them and saw many different alerts and or fraudulant claims against them. After getting some background on their attempts to get hard-working people's money for "Free", I called their number 1-888-302-3724 and spent 15 minutes more of my life trying to communicate with Mary Jane, who has a very hard to understand Filiphino voice. I asked her to advise me of how long they had been charging me. And who authorized these charges. She gave me the date of 9/07 which equals 20 months at $14.95 = $299.00. And in an "aww shucks" voice notified me that a Jerome Petro ordered the service for HIS self, but he inadvertantly entered his phone number incorrectly by 1 number-and "ta da" OUR phone number popped up and WE started receiving these charges.
She said she would cancel the service. I told her I expected a reimbursement in full. She put me on hold several times, then told me that she got an okay to credit me for the past ten months as that is all that was visible to her on the computer and that I should expect a check in 7-10 days and as she thanked me and apologized in one breath while attempting to get off the phone-I said WRONG. I've seen the complaints against them on the internet. This was fraud. I expected to receive 20 months reimbursement within 10 business days. And that I would be making formal complaints with the FTC and FTT and also Quest. She immediately said "no problem" the check for all 20 months would be in the mail and she stated that since they were reimbursing me for the full amount that I no longer "needed" to complain about them to the appropriate people. WRONG.

I ben charge for several months $12.95 for one service that i don't know what is this. because i have a life line with verizon because i don't have any income to be able to pay any service my income is @ 680.00 per months for SS.and we make several call to that people to cancel that service and get credit, but nothing happen.every month
is a different history and i never see the credit on verizon bill. to me
this is an abuse i am a person invalid, and i have 73 year old, i hope some one help me.

I tried calling ESBI's 800 number (800-570-0269) to ask that they deduct their charge of $14.95 from my Verizon phone bill. I did not authorize this charge and I do not know what the charge is for on my bill.

Their 800 number always rings busy.

Please have them stop adding this cost to my phone bill. Verizon should stop giving ESBI authorization, and they should CREDIT my bill $14.95.

ESBI places fraudulent charges on phone bill in the amount of 14.95. The BBB in DE was of no help stating the company does not respond or is out of business.

This company has charged me 3 months for services I did not authorize. It seems to be a scam ran by the company. I certainly hope they are stopped soon. It appears there is an issue with them stealing money from innocent people.
