I received a gift card for $250.00 from my husband for Christmas. The gift card included a pamphlet with all services and pricing.
I booked a Full leg with bikini and underarm waxing, as well as nail extensions. When I went to pay, using my gift card, the prices were higher than noted in the pamphlet. In the pamphlet, it does mention that prices are due to change without notice; however, I booked
my appointment right after I received the gift card and pamphlet, and yet the prices had already been increased!!! I had money left
over on my gift card so I booked an appointment to have the bio-sculpture nail procedure done. At that time, I could not find my gift
card but I did have my original receipt with the Gift Certificate # on it. The receptionist said that I COULD NOT use my balance on my
gift card if I did not have my gift card!!!...eventhough the number is right on my previous receipt. I asked to speak with the Owner of
this company who was very rude and unprofessional. She explained, in regards to the price increases, that prices are subject to change
and that is was the customers responsibility to check their website for price adjustments. NOW, not every human being owns a computer with access to websites!!! As I continued speaking with the Owner in regards to the price increases, voices were raised by both parties, and the Owner hung up on me!! This was very unprofessional and she does not, and is not, worthy of owning a business
as she was very rude and unprofessional. Then, to hang the phone up on a customer is just not acceptable. I believe the spa has very professional members on their staff; however, the owner needs to be held accountable for her actions towards a client!!! This is just not acceptable!!
