Sheer Incompetence from Top Down!!!
During my short six-month stay I can detail countless (dozens) of clerical and other mistakes made at the office. The turnover rate was high. It seemed like every month I went to pay the rent there was a new Leasing Agent and another fired or quit. During my whole lease term, none of the office people could correctly tell me my rent. I would request how much I owed in-person, pay only to be later harassed by the Management for paying too low. Probably five out of payments they gave the wrong amount to me! The sad thing is the rent amount should have been right in front of them on a computer screen, yet they were wrong 100% of the time.
Upon moving in, I was given a Damage Inventory Form by Leasing Agent Sebastion. I noted many problems in my unit such as dog urine and dog feces staining my carpet which I requested to be cleaned and was told that was my responsibility. After moving in my unit was full of fleas. I had to dry clean and wash all my clothes costing hundreds of dollars. I had to professionally clean carpets and furniture. Altogether it cost me between $500 and $1000 to get rid of the fleas. The previous tenant’s dog damages the blinds, paint on wall and doors and left an odor in the unit. All of this was on the Damage Inventory Form. Upon moving out, what a surprise, the office has no knowledge of this form and they want me to pay $500 for damages. When I called the Assistant Manger Shelby (Miller) Halvorson provided pictures of a urine stain and feces stain on the carpet and state I must pay for it because they do not have the Damage Inventory Form. I don’t have a dog and lived in the unit for 6-7 months. I cleaned it thoroughly when I left.
Would not recommend this place. Office Staff is utterly incompetent and the turnover seems to be far above average. When you combine these two facts, you are left with people working in an office that have no idea what the other person is doing and then the other person quits and they are scrambling to find or lose documents. All these actions and inactions have occurred under Allison Woodall, Property Manager. What the Property Manager has allowed is billing, mail and accounting fraud by her own staff.
