We booked space in ET ACE TECH 2009 to be held in DELHI, MUMBAI and BANGLORE. Their executive Ms Ekta Gill had promised 10x3 sq mt space at all three destinations with Print adv in Economic Times and Times of India. She also promised me to book the space @ Rs.5300.00 per Sq Mtr, which we mutually agreed. Also the offer is too good when she also told me that she will give us a credit period for 3 months after the show to clear all the payments. All the forms were filled and we gave them 4 Cheques amounting Rs.10000.00 each as booking amount.

The Mumbai exhibition is to be held in first week of Nov.09. However after some time Ms Ekta Gill told me that she cannot offer the adv space. After some more discussions we settled at One adv in One newspaper only. After some time Ms Ekta again informed me that we have to make the payments before the show else she will cancel the booking.

On this we again had discussions and we offer to cancel the booking for Banglore only and that now we will take part in Mumbai and Delhi show. Also that they will receive the payments before the show.

For Mumbai we promised Ms Ekta that we will make the payments before 20th Oct 2009 for the Mumbai show to be held on 5th Nov 09.

Today on 13th Oct 09 when we called her to confirm that we are sending the cheque against the payments for Mumbai Show, we are shocked to hear that our space booked in Mumbai has been allotted to some other person and we can not take part in the show.

This is a real shocking news for us as we had made all the plans, the stall is fabricated, all tickets are books, mode of transportation is booked, hotels are booked with booking amounts. Also we had released adv in three different magazines for the show participation.

We further had talks with Mr. Mohan and Mr. Sumit who are the top level organizers in this ACE TECH. They only said that they will refund the amount only and can not help me with any other issues.

In this organization no one is responsible for the ACT and also the exhibitor only faces the problems.

I'm not writing in this forum to get the refund of my money but to sound the other participants to verify the credentials of these type of exhibition organizers.

We request all the fellow participants to please do not believe them as they can charge you any amount of money for the space and can cancel the booking any point of time before informing you and can leave you in middle of any thing.

Hope stern actions are taken to make such companies realise that their customer is superior to them & they shall not cheat on them. "Better not book the goods if you can't deliver the product".
