Do not trust them!
I just fell for the Etourandtravel scam this morning. I was told I won the " Free " Orlando trip by entering a contest on Hotmail and that VISA was sponsoring this contest. I do admit I have been entering a lot of contests lately so that is why I thought maybe this is true. I specifically asked if VISA really is aware of this contest and I was told yes. Naturally, I called Visa after I payed the $500 initial registration fee and they know nothing about this! Not only was I lied too about that, I also got a fake 1800 # to call them back for any questions!! I called the number I saw on their website right away to get a refund and I have to wait until tomorrow at 6pm until they get all my information. I figured by the time the package comes, my 15 day cancellation " rights" will be over. Do not fall for this! You are obligated to attend a boring 90 minute timeshare meeting which they forget to mention... they like to say " all you have to do is visit one of our resorts " (ya, sure!)
I should of trusted my instincts!

SCAM/They do not refund nor do they offer valid proof
Did anyone ever recieve a refund for the amount you paid?
I wish I would have known about them earlier and done my own research because I think I am another victim of etourandtravel. I purchased a package in early Jan of this year (2007).
Today is February 26 and I was requesting for a refund on the my purchased package and they denied me a refund.
For a straight month I had called several times requesting some more information and they said they could not send me anything other than the letter and video they had sent. I also asked if I call Howard Johnson will they have me as a guest there for the time of our vacation. Brian and Matt sales reps had mentioned to me no. We do not give them the information until 2 weeks prior to your arrival. I requested to speak with a manager and Brian said that they did not have anyone available at the moment and that the manager was Kime.
He did give me her email for a refund on our rental but again I was not able to speak with anyone nor was there a number or xtsn given to me to leave a message.
My family and I are still flying out on March 26th for my daughter's b-day and I'm hoping that there will be a rental and room for us.

Unauthorized charge!
I was offered a package deal and declined than the sales rep states I could hold the package for 3 years at the stated price for only $98.00. I agreed to that charge and only for that charge but when I received my credit card statement I was charged for the full amount of $498.00 dollars. When i immediately called the company they stated they were going to refund the money only to find out they charged my account 4X's. When I spoke to a sales rep the only thing they stated was it was the companies fault and they are working on the matter to refund my account. on 12/19/07 I checked my account again and noticed they charged my account again. when I spoke to a sales rep they stated I authorized to pay for someone else's package and they stated I spoke to a supervisor name Kime who authorized the charge. I never spoke to a supervisor named Kemi and when I asked to speak to her I was informed she was to busy to speak to me and a message will be given to her to call me back in the next 24 to 48 hours. When I spoke to the rep by the name of Andrew and asked him how could they charge my account he states they have a recorded conversation where I authorized this transaction when I asked to here this recorded message I was informed that he would inform his supervisor but he told me I could not get a refund. How could this company charge me for a package I did not authorize and if I am calling every other day to try to resolve this how all of a sudden I can not get a refund. If I do not get answers I will sue the company. I do not want to have anything to do with this company ever again. This company is full of fast talking sales rep who say one thing but do entirely different once you hang up the phone. I was informed if I was not satisfied with a package after I thought it over I could cancel after 15 days I have been calling for the last 3 weeks at least every other day do every third day and now all of sudden I can not get a refund because a Supervisor will not get back to me in a timely manner. I would never inform any one of this company and will try to stop anyone from ever using this so called vacation site. I want all my information DELETED form the files of ETourand Travel. I have requested again for a supervisor to call let's see if that will happen because I am demanding a full refund of $498.00 dollars that I did not authorize Kime to take from my account.

Would not let us cancel & we received no information other than a video.
False advertisement! I was told when I purchased
this vacation that I had 15 days to cancel from when I received the video. When I tried to cancel I was told the 15 days had expired, the 15 days had not elapsed. I also did not received any paper work in the mail, only the video. The Hotels they told us about on the phone were suppose to be 4 star Hotels, they were not. They refused to credit my charge card. I do not want this vacation & I want my charge card credited! They also said they would be taking $50.00 a month from my charge card. I do not want any money taken from my charge card! My account # is 1238994.

Lies, lies, and more lies
I have been trying for a year to resolve issues with my once and a lifetime trip to Disney. In February 2007, after several attempts to get our money back from this company took their offer and went to Florida only to realize we got roped into more lies from this Company. I booked my car with etourandtravel (for a deal) with an upgrade only to realize when I went to rent the car they charged me more than double what the rental agency would have charged me. I would never recommend this company to even my worst enemy - it was one nightmare after another. I even tried using BBB to have my money returned. Still Nothing!

Refusal to refund money
We canceled our trip to Florida through etourandtravel on the 15th day via email as their offices were closed. Kime Morgan of etourandtravel agrees that we did cancel in time but refused to accept email cancellations. We were not informed that we could not email cancellations. It has been weeks since we have heard from Kime Morgan. We are frustrated and we feel that we have followed the rules to the letter but they refuse to refund the money. They refuse to give us the name of the president of etourandtravel and say he would not talk to us anyway. This is not a reputable company.

Can not cancel the vacation package!
My complain is basically similar to the other complain's. I was contacted by etourandtravel offering me also a Mexico vacation package and this was actually why I responded to them,because I was interested to go to Mexico and to relax on the beach,last year I was in Cuba for 7 Day's and the package was $ 1450.00 all included for me and my wife. Anyway a lady called me after few day"s and started to talk about orlando and daytona I told her that I was looking for Mexiko but she managed to convince me that the other package is better,on the end of our conversation she asked me for my CC # and I gave it to her thinking that they are not going to charge me until I see the DVD.Few day's later I got the DVD and I was not very much impressed,so I send them an Email to cancel the package,this was only 7 day's later,they respond to me that they can not cancel it via Email!!!??? Why? They want to talk with me I knew if I talk to them they will try to convince me again,I told them if they want to talk with me they can call me in canada and whe will talk. They never responded to that. Well now the 15 day's cancellation timeframe is past and I am charged $498.00 and I can not do anything about it. I am not going to this trip I am not getting my money back, I think I did cancel on time but they does not accept Email cancellation, I don't know what to do. I don't know how is it possible to have companies like this, somebody should shut them down because this what they are doing is not human. I hope somebody will break their neck and I wish them to get the same back what they did to us but 1000 times worser.

After15 days of nothing in the mail, no way to cancel!
I received a DVD after the 15 day time limit to cancel out our "vacation" with this company. Funny thing is they promised me a "packet" of information AND a confirmation email -- I had NO idea who to call as the guy never gave me any names as to who was selling me the package (yes, I was stupid, I admit it that I didn't ASK which company this was). The guy promised 7 night stays in 2 locations of their property (yes, THEIR property, I made sure to ask THAT one). When I got this DVD (which is ALL I received from them) I watched it and was shocked that I'd be staying at "their choice of hotels". I called immediately (well, the next day - it was at night I watched it) and found out it was after their 15 day time limit to cancel.
"Sorry, nothing I can do, you can contact our complaints department via EMAIL (only, get that???) and see what they say" ... I did but NOTHING BACK FROM THEM of course!
I filed a dispute on my credit card for the $69 I was already charged - the dispute was canceled and there was nothing my cc could do because ETourAndTravel refused the refund to my cc company as well! The rest of the money, we'll see. I've actually canceled my credit card because they will NOT take any more funds from ME. They do NOT do what they tell you they are doing - and I refuse to pay liars.
Do NOT get ripped by this company, it's a big scam and everything I've read about them - seems others have been scammed as well. (they even told me I'd have to pay MORE if I wanted to stay in their resort!!! Can you believe it??? After I ASKED and was told differently!!)

No such travel agency
I was offered the 7 day and 6 nights orlando florida and3 night accommodations in daytona beach area. THEY ALREADY GOT $250.00 OF MY MONEY. My daughter talked to someone at the phone# they have listed on there purchase conformation letter1-407-515-2400. I decided I could not afford to go because of gas prices and a rental car also a few other things. When my daughter called and talked to them they said I was screwed more or less because I had and obligation to them and they would take the rest of the money out of my account. Now they wont I changed my account. When they go to get another payment boy will they surprised! They will not get the last $150.00 they are expecting. I know$250.00 is a lot of money to me and a lot of other people at least they did not get it all. I will not ever let this happen again. I have learned my lesson.

Horrible experience got nothing
A few months ago I received a phone call from a lady offering a 6 night vacation with rental car, 3 star major hotel hotel, free tickets to Universal, as a few were left over for $149. Well the only requirement was that I had to listen to a company's presentation for 90 minutes. It sounded ok so I accepted the offer. We went this last weekend. The hotel was a run-down Ramada in Orlando that was nasty. Our presentation was over 180 minutes long (we could not get away with out walking out) and we received no attraction tickets or discounts of any kind. When I questioned this the website further explained (referred to website) that the free tickets are for Star Passes and they are not free but discounted for a large sum and only in addition to entry tickets at your expense to Universal. What a racket - say one thing, give another playing on words. We left one day early to get out of the hotel and went home. It is sad. Yes you get to go to Orlando but oh, get this, if I go to Daytona (the second part of the 6 day "vacation") I have to listen to another presentation - a 2nd one not mentioned. Basically you get nothing and they take your time. I have, in a sense prepaid for the hotel (they advertised $39.99 night and book 3 nights get 3rd night free.) Terrible experience.
