I have been shopping on the internet for 12 years and never experienced frivolous problems like I did with this store.
I ordered 4 Euro Style Agnes Round Low Back Adjustable Height Swivel Stool for $299.95 on 07/14/2009.
I bought two orange and two black. The stools were in stock when I placed the order. There was a note stating that the red stools were out of stock until July 30th so no problems there because I didn't order that color. I placed a note in the order stating I needed stools before my housewarming if possible. I had waited 3 days for shipping confirmation and instead I got an e-mail stating the order was on hold. When I go into my account, I confirmed it was ON HOLD. I called them and at first the rep said its because the billing and shipping address are different. I explained to them my debit card had already been charged. Then the rep said he'll look into it further (at this point they already screwed up by assuming). It turns out that ALL ORDERS with a note are placed on hold until someone reads the note and because they were so busy, no one got around to it! I couldn't believe it!
So I swallowed the pill and proceeded to wait for the stools. They said it would take THREE days for the supplier to process the order then ship. So I wait and wait for it to ship and get another e-mail on July 2oth but this one states ALL the stools are now on back order until August 7th! I called in and the rep said he would double-check when they would come in and then give me a call back. Of course, he never did. I called in two days later (7/23) to follow-up on the double-checking and the another rep said it has been confirmed to ship August 7th. So I told them to cancel the order. She said I would get a confirmation e-mail and of course, I never did. Today is the 27th and I'm still waiting for that e-mail. I called them today and they said that there cancellation department is busy. She consoled me by saying I would get a phone call confirming the cancellation!!! Just cancel my order and give me my money back. Why would I need a call from them??? Unbelieveable. So I have to wait a few extra days to get my refund because they have their head up their a$$.
I canceled the order and will NEVER order from these people again. Never have I seen such a disconnect between a supplier and merchant hence the misleading item page that stated these items were in stock. Their customer service reps are nice but are poorly trained and have horrible follow up. This company is a mess. I can say this is the worst online order experience I've had in years.
Buyer beware. Do not buy from these people.
