I'm a middle age black woman that lives in Angola and works in the City of Buffalo. I was in the bank this week doing some regular banking and when I was at the teller window I inquired about auto loans. The teller was very nice and said she would get the manager. A man came over to the teller window said he was the manager Jeff was his first name with an Italian last name. As I started to explain that I would be purchasing a car and wanted to enquire about financing options. He interrupted me and embarrassed me in front of other customers and the teller by saying we don’t like to do auto loans we deal with commercal and you probably wouldn’t get approved anyway (very rude). He also stated he and his wife were purchasing a car and he wasn’t going to finance his purchase at Evan Bank, he made a special point to say he would have no problem getting approved. Then I was really embarrassed if he wanted it. Why would he be approved but middle aged black woman would not? Why was he so rude? Even the teller felt sorry and the customers just looked at me. I have never been treated so poorly. Then I found out from the teller he is the platform manager, what ever that is. IF YOU’RE BLACK DONT DO BUSINESS WITH EVANS NATIONAL BANK...
