NO JOB PLACEMENT!
I’m just going to keep this simple. When I found out I was pregnant I decided to take on a short career to spend more time with my baby (once he was born) so I decided to sign up for the Massage Therapy course. Yes I did end up “graduating” but was it worth it? No! I’m pretty sure you have read other complains on this site and they are all true… unqualified teachers, overcrowded classes, unprofessional, no job placement… the list goes on. So here I am, 2 years later stuck with loans for the next12 years of my life. I have a baby to take care of and having to pay over $300 a month to a loan company for a school that didn’t even get me a job (they assure you will get a job when you sign up) is just ridiculous! This school has been sued once and if we all get together we can do it again. It’s sad how people that have nothing try to move up in life by getting a career and vicious people out there are just ready to scam and take your hard earning money.

no help in placement
i attended everest college in 2006-2007. i got a's and b's and graduated with an associate's degree in medical receptionist. the "placement director" (and i do use the term loosely) sent me on exactly two interviews, neither of which job i got. i have heard rumors that everest doesn't really help older graduates and at age 49 i fit that category. i wasted thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. the placement director at the springfield mo location is useless. i have no idea what they pay her for.

Awful place
I am concerned about the types of commercials that Everest College portrays on national television. They place minorities on television speaking of success while wearing attires that resemble gangsters with hats worn sideways on their heads and/or sitting in a living room on a beat down couch in a depressed state. A Hispanic Female portrays that she was elated to have attended college because she needed the money now...now...now. I have never heard of any college that would immediately pay anyone for a job prior to their getting trained. False advertisement. I feel that the commercials should be closely monitored for authenticity. People are paying top dollar for this college, and if their monies are being spent in vain then this should be corrected. Times are much too difficult for these types of discreditation.

Bad school
Grades are a joke
I needed 90% to get first grade honours the a--hole teacher gave me 89.59%. The college fired the teacher because he was not qualified to teach but I am still only have a 89.59% the college will not change my mark. I called the school four times so far and nobody will call back. I spend $11.000 and I have no job the help I get from the college looking for a job is a joke. I was told they were going too add a program I wanted (OTA) and they change they mind. Should have gone to Mohawk.

Unethical practices
This school social level is a stinch. The intructors are not qualfied or trained to have contact with their students. The instructors teach students accordingly to their relationship with the student. for example, If an instructor do not like a student(Personality clash) the instructor will make it almost impossible for that student to pass any of their courses and will embarass and taunt the student. This school is unprofessional and should be investigated for other unethical bahavior.

As a former student there I'm still trying to complete the assigned course work but to no avail, since, I'm still given the same instructor that is hindering me from progressing.

unproffesional environment
through the website i enquired about a particular course. they called me back and i talked to Wendy at mississauga campus on central pkwy. she said regarding what i m interested in and what are the timings n schedule of that particular course n other options we need to have appointment as it cannot be discussed over the phone( i wonder why ). she booked an appointment as on first wknd she was not in so she booked it for 2nd wknd so on May 23 i had an appointment with Wendy as she herself set it up. i was there at 12:00 noon the receptionist told me Wendy is on her way she might be coming in late so wait. i kept waiting then she thinks as the kids need a toy so she handed over to me IPOD n ask me to learn about everest college. i did read about it before stepping in thats common sense. then they were talking in b/w that wendy might not come in so if she will not come in the receptionist can talk to me. 20 minutes past 12:00 noon i told the receptionist i m not interested to study in any such place n she said okay n i left. no apology not a single word. they just wasted my time. why Wendy did not call them n let them know she'll have no plans to come. why they did not called me n change the appointment timings. why they fool themselves by handing recorded IPOD videos when they cannot prove themselves professionals. its crap place. the receptionist act like high school kid. not an educated professional environment.

FRAUDS
I recently dropped out of Everest College after 3 weeks of attending.. This school and its curriculum is a complete mess!! Since when do the student teach themselves the material they need to know to work in the field that they have chosen?! I don't know about anyone else but this is a total difference to me on the term of "hands-on" Our teacher was constantly leaving class to do whatever she had to do while we pretty much did our assignments or whatever it is we wanted. after 3 days of being in class we were to start doing injections. Now for me that is a little too fast. I understand its an accelerated program but damn!!! I feel in the short time that I was there that I learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! if you give me a spelling test I could probably pass that but as far as a test asking my knowledge on a chapter I will completely fail it.. So this is a warning to anyone that is looking to possibly attend Everest ... check your options very carefully.. I am now enrolled as a student at College America and I couldn't be happier that I am getting an actual Associates degree instead of just a diploma!

negligent school treats valedictorian like crap
It's been a month and I'm still currently waiting to get placed with an externship. It's interesting to see how they treat their valedictorians. 'Hard work pays off ' my eye. If they even so much as try and drop me, hell will be raised.

Be warned, if you're thinking about enrolling with Everest College, think long and hard about it.
