Attempting to destroy my CREDIT
On January 20th 2011 I received a notification from a credit checking agency I pay to stay up on my credit issues with I was informed on a report that I had just lost 93 points on my credit score for being behind on my mortgage payment. I have been paying this mortgage for over 8 years to date never being in default or in close proximity to being foreclosed on. I never received a foreclosure notice and have only one time fallen a few days behind on a second payment. This only has occurred at Xmass time each year I have been a few days or even weeks behind. This past year during December I made two payments in the month to be caught up. The hardest month of the year for someone with a mortgage with our economy as it is these days. I only owe the current month that I have planned to pay next week when I get paid. I was unemployed for over two years during 2008 -2010 and never missed paying my mortgage or falling behind and had plans to use EverHome for an upcoming purchase this year after being reinstated to my job during Sept. of 2010. Now that they have destroyed the 748 score I had by submitting a notice to the 3 credit agencies I can't purchase this year. I feel they had no reason to destroy my credit after 8 years of paying mortgage and this never happening before. I am personally feeling totally destroyed by this because I have prided myself even during my bad period of maintaining outstanding credit and if my appeal doesn’t work I am F...

escrow/foreclosure
I rec'd. notice that mortgage pmt. would be increased $300/MONTH.
After many, many attempts to have Everhome look into the account as to why the payment was going up for the third time, I asked the PA Attorney General's Office for help. Only after he contacted Everhome did they do an an analysis on the account. And surprise, surprise an error was found. Unfortunately for my family it was too late. Everhome filed foreclosure papers 4/10. I rec'd. a letter from them admitting to the error and asking me to call the Solutions Group at Everhome. I want to know if everyone that has filed a complaint on this site has also contacted other agencies - BBB, Dept. of Banking, Office of Thrift Supervision, their State Senators, etc. Please do so if you haven't already.

Lost payment
Back in Dec. of 2008 the bank that granted the loan for the purchase of my property transferred my account to Everhome Mortgage, by the time a letter was sent to notify the change, I have already paid that month to the primary bank. As soon Everhome noticed the payment in default, customer service began calling. I have made all the possible contacts to have that month paid to Everhome, but at this point of time in July, Everhome keeps calling asking for that payment. The primary bank already sent the payment to Everhome, but somebody from customer service haven't bother to do the procedures to summit that payment, this problem have cause to damage my credit because Everhome already sent the report to the credit bureau, plus personnel from customer service call every single month requesting the payment. One thing I know, I made the payment and whoever took it will have to respond for.

poor business practices
I have had the unfortunate "luck" of having my home mortgage sold to Everhome Mortgage Co. in 2008. They have had excess funds in my escrow account which exceed those allowed by law. I have found that it has been almost impossible to get my refund of these funds. After talking with eight different employees in Customer Services I have been given eight different reasons why this refund has not been mailed to me. I was told that the refund had been issued a month earlier and must be lost in the mail; I was given two different amounts in which the check had been issued; I was told that it was company policy to hold the refund for ten days after check is issued for verification that account is not more than 30 days delinquent. I would like to state for the record that I have never been late with a single payment to Everhome. One employee even went so far as to say that they could not mail the refund for ten days after it was issued because they had to verify that the "check was good". While I am sure she did not mean for this statement to come out like it did, it is very bad business practices. When I requested the phone number for the Corporate Office from an employee named Dana I was told that that information was not available to her. When I asked Dana for the name of the person sitting in the top seat for Corporate Office she did not know that information either. Finally after going around and around with her she put me on hold several times and finally came back with a telephone number for Corporate and a name. Upon making a long distance call to the phone number provided to me by Dana, I discovered that Corporate offices for Everhome Mortgage were located in the very same building where she reported to work every day! I attempted to make contact by telephone with Mr. Robert Clemets who sits in the #1 seat for Everhome only to find out that nobody in the building seemed to have his office number available and there was no way to make contact with his assistant. Needless to say I am very angry at this point. It infuriates me to think that our President is giving our tax dollars to banks to bail them out of their own mess from shoddy business practices. I would strongly suggest that Mr. Clements at least take the time to send out a memo to each and every employee in his organization so they can no longer say they have no knowledge of his name or phone number. I would NOT recommend doing business with Everhome Mortgage Co. to anybody!!!

escrowed taxs with no tax libility
I have been trying to get everhome to stop escrowing me for taxs. I have no tax liability(new law Minnesota, 100% disabled veteran, no tax on homestead property). everhome will not comply and will not reply to corispondance. I have sent all paperwork and customer service says to re submit. this I did, no responce. Had County assessor fax preposed tax statement, no responce.Customer service stated there is no direct number to tax department for Everhome and will not connect me to them. dead end, dead end.!!!

Scam and fraud!
Mortgage was paid in full since Nov 2007 and still have not received the paid in full mortgage documents, nor have they repaid monies they are holding in escrow.
