I unfortunately bought a house that had leaks in the roof (surveyor missed it..subject of another complaint) Everlast Roofing Specialists Ltd provided an estimate of £5, 000 and a 10 year guarantee to make the roof watertight. Following completion of the work there where just as many problems as before the work started. During the work he tried to take shortcuts and claimed that he needed more payment which I resisted. After numerous attempts to get the roofer back, and after him being rude to my partner on the phone, I went to Trading Standards who were not able to take any action. I then took him to the small claims court and won the decree because he did not respond to the summons. I now have to enforce the decree but don't have much chance of getting any money because this con man has no business account (the bank account is in his wives name) and I found out that the business address on his web site has never been used by him.

Everlast use the 10 year guarantee statement to win work but they are not competant roofers and will not come back to attend to any problems.
