i am a 30-year-old lady writing this letter in sheer desparation. i have my residency in Al Khan, very close to the Qanat Al Qasba. i go for regular morning walks every friday in the qasba-corniche road and there has not been a day where i am not followed by eve teasers who walks with you every where you go and sit with you as you take a break and then again start following my walks. These asian guys are starting to become a big nuinance for every lady walking alone. Al khan is a developed area (unlike Rolla where you find only such dirty people) and was considered a very safe place with good crowd. but however such goons have started appearing from no where and seems to be increasing in number.

This being a muslim country such acts should not be entertained anymore. Men should not look at women with a dirty intention and such obvious dirty behaviour in public should be punished

Last friday i walked for 2 hours all the while this guy was following me. I dint have my mobile or else i would have somehow gotten hold of this guy. i left the corniche area and walked back to my building and found that this guy too was following me back to my building as well. on seeing him behind me, i ran back to my building and rushed to my flat via the lift.

I have a strong feeling that this guy would be back next friday too expecting me or the other ladies to be there so that he can continue with this routine task. I would request the SHARJAH POLICE to do the needful in getting rid of such behaviour as soon as possible.

We have full faith that SHARJAH POLICE would help in executing proper law for all here in the UAE.
