Open Letter of Apology
AN OPEN LETTER OF APOLOGY AND RETRACTION OF STATEMENTS MADE BY MYSELF BOTH ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2100 & TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2010. To all/any to whom this may concern. My name is "Matt" (as specified in my initial filed complaint). I am writing this additional comment to clarify the original complaint I made concerning EVOLOCITY, Inc. - a company I hired to do internet marketing for my business. After further consideration of documentation as provided by EVOLOCITY a full 3 months prior to filing my complaint - I realize that most, if not all, of my listed complaints were based more on lack of awareness, anger, frustration - or a combination thereof - rather than in factual truth. As such, I would like to retract any/all claims as made by me against EVOLOCITY, and simply say that they did in fact provide services that resulted in many calls and/or leads to my business, and well over 100+ top page ranked web-search results. It appears in retrospect that my initial frustration was due more to a lack of tracking/attributing of results on my side, and apologize for any confusion, or miscommunication caused by my previous statements. I am here listing the advertising and marketing values that I was provided within a short 3-4 month period: -(100+) Top Page Google Business Listings -(300+) Top Page Search Engine Business Listings -(7,938) Click-throughs and visual branding impressions from my Top Page Search Engine Listings I was also provided: -Inbound calls, tracking number, audio file uploads, and access to stats for online searchers keyword lookups, branded click throughs, unique number of visitors. -Support Services; live, email, phone, video, help files - of which EVOLOCITY graciously provided (400) support contacts during my membership time Just with the sheer number of premium top page listed keywords that evolocity dominated my market with – I had a comparable/competitive market advertising value of $5700.00 per month working for me 24/7. Evolocity also gave me (6) websites. These websites included free monthly hosting with my membership. One of my websites was a fully customized website that allowed me to have the site look and be exactly what I wanted it to be like – unlike many template sites that are out there on the market today. Evolocity provided these websites, designed them, put them online, modified them to my personal liking very quickly so I didn’t have to mess with trying to figure it out on my own. In addition to all this, EVOLOCITY also provided me full access to; software, services and multiple features above and beyond my membership with the following marketing modules: Campaign Tracking Features along with any/all needed metrics and data Appointment reminder calls Marketing Software and Free Training Access Contact Manager, Scheduler & SOAP Notes maker Free Monthly Marketing Suite & Theme Creatives, including; eNewsletters, eCards, Print News Version Press Release Articles and Submission File Sharing & Data Backup eMail Marketing and Personalization Features Industry Lead Marketing Lists Calls to Industry Type, including; Attorney's, MD's, Local Businesses, Schools, Gyms & etc, Reports & Report Wizard Marketing Action Plan Features, Budgeting and Process CMS (Content Management System for my multiple symptom sites In short, as a client member, EVOLOCITY provided me with Premium Top Page Google Listings as promised, while providing me with at least $4700.00 per month in additional Search Engine Top Page Premium Listings - along with; software, support, training, access, products, features and benefits - for my own access and enhanced marketing benefit. Over the past couple of years I have not found any company that even comes close to providing everything that Evolocity did for the low price they were asking. After more closely reviewing what I did have, I am seriously open to and considering using Evolocity again for my marketing for this upcoming year.

Lies, Promises, and more lies
I began using Evolocity in about April/May of 2010 to "build a website" and "promote my business". They had a slick salesman contact me to explain all the great, fantastic things they were going to do for me! Not having a website at the time it sounded like a great idea. After speaking with them several times to decide what would work best for me I decided to use them. What a mistake! They said I should expect about 2-3 calls per month just from the google search alone. Not including the various "online tools" that the members can use. My inexperience got the best of me because now I see that this is nothing but a scam! In approximately 6 months of use we got ZERO calls! According to them we got hundreds. Keep in mind we do track our marketing very closely and not once did we get a call from their tracking number. We specifically ask each and every caller "what number did you use to call us". The answer 100% of the time our local registered business number! Here is basically what happens when you join Evolocity: First they start by making you a "CUSTOM" website with several secondary sites to improve the traffic to the primary site. Bullshit! It's a template site that anyone can build in a very short period of time. Cost $1500! Then they charge $300 a month to "maintain" the site and keep everything running smoothly. Then they set up the site with a tracking number that transfers to your business line. Sounds good, right? They want to track which calls are coming from their effort. Wrong! It's done specifically so they can control every aspect of the website. You can't make changes unless you call or email them. In my personal experience this was like pulling teeth. On several occasions I asked for updated information to be added to my site. The soonest this ever got done was about 10 days. One of the changes took 3 weeks and it was for time sensitive material! Also, it only got done after I called to find out why it hadn't been done. When I was asked to provide a name for my website they were very insistent on it being a domain name they could purchase. I thought it would be done on my behalf since I paid them. Again, it is done so they could control everything. I terminated my service with them in December of 2010 and specifically told them to stop using my name. They will not release the domain name to me(which is my business name!) because they say they own it. As of March 1, 2011 I can still find the secondary sites they were using with my name still on them. I have told them to stop this several times but they continue to keep them up. On almost a weekly bases I get emails informing me of all the calls I'm missing because I don't use their service. Here are some examples of the exact wording in the emails that are in my opinion manipulative and dishonest...
“Your tracking number had another potentially motivated patient call. However, since your account is not active they rang to our office. If you would like to activate your account and get the information on this call, please let us know.”
“Due to the many top page listings that you have on Google, three more calls came into the tracking number. Please let us know if you would like the information on these calls.”
“Due to the many, many top page rankings that you have on Google, you had another (3) calls that came into your tracking number. This is the first right of acceptance and/or refusal. If you would like get the tracking number routed back to your office, please let us know.”

Where are these many call going? How did I not hear about them? Not a single person has ever contacted me personally from their tracking number! If they had I would be very stupid to stop their service!!!

The company owner's name is Evan Richards but you will never get to speak to this guy directly. I have attempted numerous times to call him to voice my concerns but he never returned my call. The only calls I got were from "Bob" their upper management guy who was probably a used car salesman in a previous life. The conversation I had with him consisted of him being very defensive, avoiding my concerns, and trying to sell me a used car!

My personal advice would be to avoid this company. Find a person with good computer and website knowledge and get their help. It really isn't that difficult once you find the right person. I found a great person who built a new site and it didn't cost me thousands of dollars. Additionally, I got 3 new patients the first week the site was up!

Do yourself a favor and do not use them
I began using Evolocity.com to promote my chiropractic office in April of 2010. They assured me that I would be generating many new patient leads. They set up a tracking number that I was suppose to begin to market so that I could track the incoming calls to my office. After 4 months (and 0 new patients) I decided to cancel. I was then informed that the tracking line that I had been giving out to current patients would route to there sales department and my exeisting patients would be reffered to other offices. Basically they not only did nothing for my office, but they intentionally tried to hurt my business as well. Do yourself a favor and do not use evolocity.com
