We went to Singapore for vacation on 9-Sep-2010 and return on 11-Sep-2010. It was a pretty bad experience happened on 10-Sep-2010 after our shopping at Sim Lim Square at No. 1 Rochor Canal Road. Unfortunately, we were only noticed 2 days after we came back to Malaysia and asked around people and confirmed with Apple Store Singapore on 13-Sep-2010 over the phone that we paid more than the actual Apple iphone would cost us in fact. Apple Store Singapore requested us to verify with the Merchant immediately and Apple have no such expenses to pay for iphone4 service other than the Apple Protection Plan of SGD99.00 for 2 years and the warranties is limited period coverage no such “lifetime warranties”. The Merchant charged us additional of SGD300.00 per unit on top of SGD99.00 for 2 units purchased PLUS another 10% of total bill which the Merchant told us that we were subject a fee to Apple iphone. Apple Support Singapore also told that the iphones price purchased from this merchant was unfair and not true. The price we have paid was far beyond Apple’s actual pricing to the consumer. We were cheated by this dishonest Merchant located at Sim Lim Square, company called Evolution Gaming LLP Singapore (Co. Reg. No. LL0701452-C) for 2 units of iphone4 32GB cost us at a total bill of SGD4, 556.48 told that the charges included the 2 units of Apple iphone 4 32GB plus Licenses & warranties (“Lifetime” Warranty). We have tried to contact the Merchant telephone no. +65 63375744 and +65 96131182 both no respond to our calls. We, also have dropped the sms messages to +65 96131182 also no return call. We are seeking your help from the Singapore’s Tourism Board and the Singapore Consumer Affairs Department to attend our problems on our misfortunate experience in which we think the only way we could appeal and seek the compensation or refund on this unfair transaction to us as a foreigner. Again, we appreciate your assistance in helping us in this unfair transaction. We are ready to provide the supporting documents to this dishonest pricing if we could talk to someone for assistance as we have tried many ways to Singapore still no feedback. Thank you in advance.
