I was fired for refusing a new pay scale/policy. My boss, Scott Stein, told me I had a choice to continue with the pay we agreed upon when I was hired or a new policy, where I would start with a higher pay, then be penalized for cancellations and have time/pay deducted. I chose to keep my original pay. That was the last day I was given work. Instead I was to "clean up" the database of used, previously called numbers. This took a longer time since it involved searching for my employee number, then searching to see which number were due to be called yet again. This resulted in fewer calls, fewer appointments. After a week of this (while my two co-workers were given fresh numbers to call) I was fired for having "low numbers".
That was Jan. 18, 2010. Today is Feb. 15 and I still have not been paid for my last full day of work, Jan. 18.
