This is my inquiry to Sigma Corp. about the Sigma lens I just purchased from Express Camera.

I am in the process of purchasing a new lens for a Canon Rebel XT from Express Camera.

This lens was suggested over the 17-85 Cannon lens for the shown price I have contacted the store to find out why I do not see this lens listed in your catalog at this price? I see the same lens (18-125) at considerable lower price.

The store ad indicates a list price of $1489.99? I was told after placing another call after my order that this particular lens is new and not listed as a part of your lens lineup? Is this true? I was told I would be getting a total new product not yet listed on the Sigma Website by a sales person named Paul.
