Bait and switch!
Express Cameras - www.expresscameras.com
Rude phone sales rep, when asked just for camera body was transferred to another rep who told me camera was on backorder for six weeks.
Baited with low cost camera, not available without purchasing their extremely high priced package.

Express Cameras - bad business practices!
Do not buy anything from Express Cameras.
Look for authorized dealers only on the internet and if possible visit the stores...
I was totally ripped off by Express Cameras and its 6 months since last time I tried to do anything about it. I was so disappointed and frustrated of not getting my right product and not being answered. I just gave up and tried to forget.. hmm i guess I cant forget and I cant forgive myself if I dont warn others about Express Cameras.
It was the first time I bought something expensive thru the internet.
I was sold a ntsc Camcorder ( 3000 dollars ) instead of a ´Pal´system Camcorder.. I am from europe.. and this was the main emphasis I put on the deal. ( basically the camera is useless in Europe unless I convert all the material I record. Reduces image quality and is really time consuming ) I only found this out when I was back in Europe and I did not dare to send it back . Now I am selling it used back to the U.S.
I was sold a pro package,, all this pro accessories to the camera.. 2000 dollars.. when I got the delivery I soon realized that most of it was really the cheapest of the cheapest products. Not pro at all..
I returned two of the most expensive items except for the camera..while I was in the U.S. and got a rma number thru phone ( a pro wide angle lens that turned out to be a crappy fish a eye kind of lense) (and a wireless mic system..well it was like my first sony...) instead the person on the phone promised me to send in return the lens I wanted . It never came.
The salesperson has not responded to any of my emails.
And I could not afford to call from europe about all of this.
I just trusted them,, I was careless and hasty and greedy to.. the price for the camera was cheap,, to cheap.. I guess I know now how they make their money..
Not refunding or sending anything in stead of returned items and selling deerly, junk with the label pro in front.
They give you an Rma. thru phone and not fax or email so its more difficult to sue them and then take the product back ( with out sending anything instead ) and sell it again.
I actually recorded the phonecall when I got my rma number and was promised a certain item , so if any Law graduate wants to sue them . pro bono I got evidence.. he he..
I am now going to try again to get some kind of response and compensation from the company or at least thru the internet ... warn others and hopefully stopping this company from cheating others.
Of course I will be really smart and cautious in the future.
A very deer lesson, both time and money.
A 5000 dollar lesson.
cheers and be carefull.
