Express Personnel Services-owner with no name
Express Employment pulled my resume from a job site, e-mailed me some test and because I did well on them they had me come in for an interview. I came in but was treated rudely, insulted out of the blue at every turn. I had to take the entire test over and when I asked if the lady was going to meet with me the man at the front destk grew angry again and yelled that she was in the hospital, I had last spoke to her about 4pm the previous evening when she made the appt. He said he was the owner but he never gave his name not first or last. He told me on the spelling test I had to pick one word of each group and I had picked two - they had supercede supersede and superseed - I explained to him that both supercede and supersede were spelled correctly - this angered him. I told him I could show him how to bring up a dictionary online so he could see. What was most disturbing is I believe he violated federal law, he signed the form that is used for taking id info - certifying that you are a citizen or national- usually agencies get a copy of DL and SS # or passport or birth certificate. You have to show at least two forms of qualified ID. He signed this, approving that I had shown ID before I even filled it out. And when I explained I had lost my ss card recently but had my birth certificate he said he didn't need it. He did need it, he signed the paper certifying that he had seen yet he wouldn't let me show it to him. He acted emotionally disturbed and I felt frightened. It was a two hour waste of my time and I can't imagine that this office ever actually does any business or is able to bring in any revenue.
