I purchased a Gateway computer costing over $2000 with an extended warranty they covered all of the laptop and the battery. Now, when the battery is expired they have decided that the warranty didn't cover the battery. Which interesting about the entire situation is the service department and the individual I spoke to lead me to believe the battery was covered. I provided this person with my mailing address my credit card number and other personal information so that they could send me this battery. Then they decided they would just cancel the order without even letting me know. When I call them for status of the battery, they then said the warranty didn't cover the battery. I will never buy another Gateway computer if it were the last company that manufactured computers on the face of the earth. What makes me mad about the entire situation was they lied. They lied about what the warranty covered and then they lied when they said it covered the battery and were going to send it to me. If you would like to deal with liars, then buy a Gateway computer.
