Unauthorized charges
I order the free trail for acai berry I did not get the product a week later I called and cancel. Then they charged my accound 83.18 for a product I did not get and cancelled. I called them today and the guy was rude told me I never called and cancelled even after I game him the cancellation number and the persons first name that I talked to he did cancel my accound and gave me another cancellation number but pretty much said I was lying and would not replace the money in my accound 83.18 for the pills I never got 34.00 overdraft fee and the 2.00 that I was originally suppose to only be charged. So now this bottle I never got has cost me over 120.00.

Applied for a free sample, you had to phone within 14 days if you did not want to continue, you had to enter your card details for the free trial, but the terms and condition clearly state they this can be cancelled within 14 days - phoned and amazingly got through - they did not cancel the charge and have been charging £5, 86 a month but the payee changes every month. The only way to stop the charge is to cancel your card. There are lots of complaints on the website about this scam - only too late for me to do anything!

How can this website still continue to get people to sign up for a free trial - where they say you can cancel - and then are stuck with then taking a continuing unauthorized payment from your account - especially when all the complaints are all about the same scam.

I have the same complaint as everyone else. You call the company and you hold forever. The phone goes dead everytime. I just wanted to try the product for the shipping and handling fee. Instead I was charged 89.31 twice. I am trying to get the $$ back. I had to cancel my visa in order to stop payment.

I did not authorize a sum of $82.31 be taken from my credit card account. The website offered a 30 day free trial of Acai Berry for the sum of $3.95 shipping charge, I called their number from the website and cancelled any other shipments before I received the Acai Berry. I specificly told the person I spoke with that I was not interested in this product. The individual that I spoke with assured me that no other shipments would be sent and I was placed on the cancelation list.

Unsolicited charges on credit card
In October 2008 I ordered a trial bottle of Extreme Acai Berry Melt Away Tablets. I received them and a week later I received a large bottle of the same product. Soon after, I got my credit card statement where they charged me $111.51 in Canadian funds (89.31 US). I called and complained whereby they told me about the fine print in their agreement on the free sample. Apparently, I had 14 days to cancel this second order and had not phoned in time ( I was out of town for a few weeks at Christmas). I told them at that time that I wanted any further orders cancelled. Since then, I have had three credit card statements where they charged me $8.51 US for absolutely nothing!!! I called them (1-877-350-8480) again today and told them that I wanted to be refunded all three charges for $8.51 US and that I wanted my credit card number deleted from their data base. I was told that the refund would take a couple of days to go back on my credit card and that the card was taken off the data base. I am breathlessly awaiting the outcome of this one.

Unauthorized charges
I stupidly ordered a trial sample from this web site. They do not provide the slightest hint of a receipt, so I made a careful note to call and cancel before the trial was over. Before the trial was over, I hadn't even received my trial sample, so they extended my trial and promised me two samples. I again called to cancel my trial and they refused to take my phone call. When I finally got through, they had charged me two days before my trial was over.

I immediately disputed with my bank, only to eventually be denied for lack of evidence. What kind of evidence did they want? I had no receipt, no receipt came with the trial sample I eventually got, and the company requires that you cancel over the phone -- I don't record my phone calls. I eventually sent my bank a copy of my phone records showing that I called the company to cancel during the trial, and then immediately called my bank to dispute the charge.

My bank told me that they are aware that this company is a scam, but they still denied my dispute. On top of that, the company charged me a second time a month later -- one month after the first dispute -- and my bank never added that charge to the dispute and they refused to file a separate dispute for it. So now I'm being ripped off by a scam artist and my bank!

I am reporting the bank to the Utah Department of Financial Institutions, but it's not a local bank, so it will no doubt be sent up to the national version of the DFI, which will probably be as much ignored as my previous complaint about a bank.

Unable to get my money back
I ordered the trial for 3.95, there was nothing else on the add, no fine print - nothing. Then I find a charge from them for 89.95, and 2 charges from some fit-something for 29.95. I called both and was told they would be canceled and money returned. The 2 charges of 29.95 were returned immediately, this was in November. I kept calling Acai Berry and they told me they shipped a bottle to me and that I had to return that to get my money back, when I FINALLY got the bottle, I immediately returned it, that was in January. I have repeated called for my money back and was given 2 cancellation numbers. Now, when I call, the number immediately disconnects. The web site is no longer up, and other numbers I find for them on the net also disconnect.

If anyone still has a way to contact them, please post it. I'm not just gonna let them have my money like that without a fight.

Unauthorized billing
Filled in on line form for 'Free' Acai berries . Didn't read the terms and conditions which were 'buried ' at the foot of the 3rd web page. Received 'free' pills just before Xmas --put them away without reading accompanying leaflet till we returned from holiday on 4/1/09. Saw debit on my Credit Card Statement which I did not recognize. Canceled the payment with them but realized a few days later what had happened. The billing address for £64.96 was different from the Address for the Post and Packing for the free samples ---which in itself is underhand and dishonest. I am now trying to get my credit card company to treat this as fraud but I don't really hold out much hope. I feel so STUPID and really angry that this should happen. Can I do anything. I had to phone the Florida address from UK to cancel--I just hope that will be done as I am going to Spain on 31/01/09 for 2 weeks and may not be able to access a computer to check my balances.

I ordered Acai Berry on October 29th, 2008. The acai berry was supposed to ship out within 24 hours. I called the Customer Service line after not receiving my product within 10 days. I then called back on November 17th and still had no acai berry and I told them to cancel all my accounts, and that if any charges were incrued I wanted a refund as I had not even received a trial bottle of the acai berry. On November 25th I received a trial bottle and two other full size bottles of acai berry. I returned the two full size bottles to the company in which they verified they received in the warehouse December 12th, 2008. During this time my refund has been 'pending' and when I called during December they told me they would process this within 24 hours, when I called again they were sending it to Corporate for speedy processing, I have continuously called and to no avail. I still do not have a refund and the product didn't work. This company is a scam.
