I strongly suggest that people close their accounts immediately they realise they've been caught up in this scam. I spoke to my bank and we agreed it was the best thing to do. I also went to the police, who weren't much/couldn't help, but have sent a scam report to the UK government consumer site, and they'll pass it on to Trading Standards.
Closing your account down is a pain, but it's the only safe way to ensure these bastards don't get their hands on (any more of) your money. If it's going to take a day or two to be finalised, then make sure your bank blocks your card, too. For me, it's been a lesson I will never forget. We keep getting told to be careful with our bank details, and I know now how careful I have to be!

This company misrepresents what they sell. The product itself is not the subject. The subject is marketing. For example: They will send to you a free sample and you have to pay for the shipping charges. Then they have your credit card number. Upon receipt of the free sample, in my case, 2 days later I received another sample and charged $88.00 for the sample This will continue to be billed every month unless you notify the company that you do not want the product. The catch is at the bottom of the webpage is a small area to go to another page that says you have a 14 day trial period to notify the company that you want to opt out with no forthcoming charges and then afterwards you will receive a charge of $88.00 for each shipment. First is the product is outrageously priced. Second the company covers the marketing without openly giving details. Also, upon calling the company, the representative did not acknowledge that I ordered from the company. He stated that I ordered from another company. I told him the telephone number I called came from the free sample bottle and the correct telephone number was the one that I called. Subsequently, he asked for the name of the product and I told him it was Extreme Acai Berry and he immediately recognized me by name, address and phone number. I told him that the second order that I received was rejected and that the US post office was sending it back. The representative states that I cannot do this and that they accept no returns. He also stated that if I sent it back that the company would have to receive a tracking number (now the package is back to the post office ). (The postal service stated that there was not a tracking number on returns). The guy on the phone now starts barginning with me that future shipments will be half price (I refused). Following this he states that I will not receive credit for the shipped order. So, at the end of this the rep on the phone want the tracking number (postal service does not provide tracking numbers on returns) and I will have to call the company to give the tracking number. And so it goes . . . I called my credit company and stopped sale on the company.

I ordered this product and received it about a week later. I tried to call every day after to cancel and always got a recording or was disconnected. Now my credit card has been charged $89.31. I don't know if anyone else has had the opportunity to try the product yet, but I excercise 3-4 times a week and eat healthy (I'm a vegetarian, I don't eat sweets or fried foods) and I haven't lost an inch or a pound using this. What a waste. I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau.

I bought the trial bottle of Acai Berry thinking I was only paying shipping and handling. Now I am signed up for some fitness program for $29.95 per month and I never even signed up with them. I never received anything saying I was signed up, just a charge on my debit card, after I ordered the Acai Berry order. What can I do to stop this and get my money back? No hope reaching them by phone, I have e-mailed them, awaiting a reply now. any suggestions?

Same as all the others, there was nothing mentioned about further charges. My bank can't stop payments until I provide a cancellation letter to the company. I'm in the UK, I can't even phone them! Does anyone have an email address for them?
