Unable to call to cancel my order
I ordered a trial of Extreme Acai Berry at the end of October and have been unable to call the company to cancel my order.
I am calling from the UK and so have time difficulties too. I have tried various numbers: 001 the code from the UK 877-350-8480 and 001-877-350-8515. I have done as you suggest and press 888 in rapid succession when dialing but all to no avail.
Please would you inform me of the best way to prevent this company from stealing any more money from me.
Thank you.
Kind regards
K. Kay

Scam - unauthorized debit from bank
Ordered a free sample 21 September. They sent out a full shipment on September 27 and another on October 5 without authorization. The person "Noreen" said that it was my fault because I did not cancel. They will only give one refund - so the other shipment is just stolen money. The second bottle is not even the same stuff as the first!
I will file a dispute with the credit card company and hopefully will get my $89.31 back. Of course time will tell if "Noreen" really canceled the future shipments.
I was able to get through very easily - but I called the number shown above about 30 minutes before they close - at 9PM Mountain time.

Unauthorized charges
I ordered a free sample of Extreme Acai Berry. When it arrived it contained the information that subsequent bottles would folow automatically and a charge of 89 dollars and 31 cents applied to my credit unless I called to cancel. When I called I discovered that the first month's charge had already been made, three full days before I received the free sample with the above outlined information. Nowhere on the website is this made clear and I feel cheated, taken for a fool, and scammed. In my home province of Ontario, Canada, this kind of reverse onus business practice is illegal.

Unauthorized billing
I saw on Oprah about acai berry and all of the benefits to your body! SO I went on-line to search for it and found a free trial! YAY!! COOL! And then I ordered it, and waited for two weeks and two days. I ordered it Oct. 16, 2008. It wasn't shipped from Florida until Oct. 27, 2008. I received it today (Nov. 3). I looked on my bank statement and I was charged $118.86 from someone I didn't even know! I also received a letter in it saying that if I didn't cancel my subscription to extreme acai berry in fourteen days of it being ordered, that they would charge me $89.31. They shipped it, giving it two days from the time that I needed to cancel the subscription. I received it Nov. 3, 6 days AFTER I had the option to cancel. On my bank statement it said that I was charged on my credit card for $118.89 from 'YOUR VIP FIT.' What the heck is a VIP FIT? I quickly called the acai company and told them that I would like a refund, they said it would take 14 business days. And I told them the amount I was charged and the date. They said that they only charged $89.31 on that day. I said no, my statement definately says $118.86, and they said that it wasn't them and told me to call a different number, so I called it and got nothing. But it was odd the way she told me the number. I was expecting the last four digits, and only received 3. So I said '770?' and she repeated '7770.' I found that really odd, maybe she made the number up? I have no made any action, but plan to go to the bank first thing tomorrow morning to see what they could do! I'm a student at university, I can't afford to lose $118 out of my pocket for nothing! I'm really worried, and hopefully some action can be made, because I will fight this!!

Acai Berry
Back in October, I clicked on an ad, which was advertied on myspace.com, about this acai berry weightloss story, and it then took me to www. extremeacaiberry.com, and I ordered my trial bottle for 3.95 for shipping charges. I had a 14 day trial period that I had to call to cancel if i did not want to be charged 89.31 for another bottle. I never received an email confirmation in regards to my trial bottle. Furthermore, I never recieved my trial bottle. I was recently charged $89.31 on my current billing statement. I tried numberous times to call the phone number listed on my credit card statement and it is always busy or I am on hold for 20 minutes at a time. This is a scam and needs to be taken care of quickly.

ordered trial offer, #phone always busy, and not able to cancel within trial period and recieved an unwanted bottle
I clicked on an ad on the internet about this acai berry weightloss story, and it then took me to www. extremeacaiberry.com, and I order my trial bottle for 3.95 for shipping charges. I had a 14 day trial period that I had to call to cancel if i did not want to be charged 89.31 for another bottle. Well i did not even recieve my trial bottle about 20 days after i originally ordered it, and the trial period starts the day of ordering, and then when i try to call the phone number given to cancel, it is always busy. I think it is a scam...I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. We will see what happens...but buyer beware of this company!!!

Billed and No Product
I ordered this Acai Berry tablet through an internet site. You had 14 days "FREE" trial period. You needed to cancel within the 14 days to not be charged $80 something. I never received the tablets within the 14 day period and they had already billed my credit card. This is definetly a scam. BEWARE!!!

unauthorized charges (plural)
on 10-22 we made an order for a 14 day free trial paying only shipping of 3.95 for a product. 2 weeks later, we were charged 29.95 from Fit Factory, something i had no idea what it was - we called the numbers given, no answer - went to our bank who had a different number, called and cancelled everything. thought it was all taken care of - NOPE - on 11-07, the 14 day trial was finally shipped, rec'd here from fla (we're in ga) on 11-13 and subsequently, NOW my credit card is charged 89.31 for an unauthorized charge - tried calling this number and again, no answer - went to the bank, they have a different number and we are now in the process of trying to clean all that up. you cancel, they charge, you fix that, they go to another company and the fun begins ALLLLLLLLL over. scam.

nonauthorized credit card charges
I ordered a "free" bottle of Extreme AcaiBerry tablets. After receiving the tablets and being charged $29.95 for the "free" bottle, I was then charged $89.31 for another months worth of tablets! What a scam! After calling to complain, I was refunded the $89.31, BUT later realized I was also automatically enrolled in PriceLimbo.com - for $8.51 a month - all because of ordering a bottle that was supposedly free! I don't even know what PriceLimbo.com is! How in the world can this be legal? By ordering one product, you are unknowingly signed up and charged for something else?
