Awful experience
The other day, I had an infection in my one eye due from a contact lense. I got an appointment with the Eye Dr. and was scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. appt. I arrived 3 minutes early. As I signed in, there were 3 girls there staring at me noticing my eye was red, inflamed and watering. No one asked me if I was in any discomfort, or helped me back to another room to be looked at immediately. On the check out sheet there was no place to put my reason of visit. They had, checkup, pick up glasses, pick up contacts etc. I just left it blank, thinking they see my condition. After waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes, one of the three girls that saw me sign in (in fact she has been a long timer there)n asked me if the light was distracting to my eyes. I said yes it is, but I have it closed so it won't hurt, thank you! She said sure. Then turned around and helped another patient into a Dr.s office. No one else even blinked an eye to this. After another 15 minutes, I finally saw the Dr. I found out I have/had an irritation of the eye lid. That is why my eye was so inflamed, swollen, and tearing down my face. I can see the people behind the desk are not assisting the patients as they need to. They don't pay attention to patients needs as they come to the office. They are too busy, giggling, talking and laughing loudly in public. People like I have described don't need to be in the medical field, caring for people. They are too busy being a child and not taking care of the patients that need immediate assistance!! I have another appt. in the future, and believe me I am never going to go there ever again. My eye site is precisious and they apparently, don't give a care.
