I have had problems with my glass frame (temple) covers on each side, since I bought them. Today, I decided since I have been an Eyemasters customer for over 10 to 12 years, I would go in to see if I could get help. Firstly, a clerk, without looking into his computer records, asked me "did you buy those here"...I said "of course, otherwise, I would not be asking for help there"...he proceeded to tell me "you would be surprized"...then, at my repeatedly asking for help, he opened his computer, could not come close to spelling my name, then, once I spelled it for him twice, he saw that I was a repeat customer. He said since I did not buy Insurance for them, he could not help me. Note; I bought my lenses January 09. I told the clerk I felt the material used for the plastic temple covers was inferior, so, he proceded to get his manager...who only stated the same thing and backed up his goofy clerk saying "he was only doing his job"...now, by this time, I was getting fumed...never one time did he or the clerk offer to assist me, and the Manager stated that "nothing lasts forever", and since in January I only bought lenses, not new frames too, there was nothing they could do.
I never wanted anything free...but, neither of them offered to order new temple covers. Then, upon asking the manager if he could order some...he stated "oh yes, but, for about $60.00. Now...I wear glasses, my wife, son, duaghter-in-law, and grandson wear glasses...all of which have used Eyemasters...Must I tell you...never, ever, again. These POS people do not care about repeat customers. I asked the mgr at one time, had he looked to see how many times I had been in over the past 12 years...he said yes, continuing to lecture me that "things don't last forever. By the way, the glass frames are only 2 years old. THE WHOLE PLACE IS NOTHING BUT A HUSTLE!
