Unauthorized withdrawal
I was made aware by my bank that a withdrawal was made from my account on June 1, 2009 from a company named "Debt Eaters" from Utah for $29.95. I disputed the charge with my bank because I never authorized the withdrawal and my bank refunded me my money in full as well as caneled my debit card and set up a brand new bank account for me. I took out my bank statement for May 2009 to see if this Debt Eaters had charged me at any other time only to find out that I had been charged $64.43 by EZ Grant Pro same phone number as Debt Eaters and also from Utah. I never authorized any charges from either company nor have I received any information from either of these companies.

FALSE ADVERTISING
The Community Support Center is an outpatient mental health clinic assisting those with severe mental illness. In accordance, we have met financial difficulty. Our services have been cut. Our members have been strained. Accordingly, members have accessed multiple resources to ensure their survival. EZ Grant Pro pulled in one of our members with advertising FREE CD's paying only for shipping and handling. They did not make it clear that the members would be charged a monthly fee.
This is a vulnerable population and it is a vulnerable time for the underpriveleged. WHAT A SCAM EZ GRANT PRO IS!!!

unauthorized credit charge
After trying to cancel after reading terms and agreements..I could not get through on number provided. After reaching a direct line I was told that even if I had to wait 4 hours I needed a confirmation number. Please think before dealing with this company that is only 1 year old and has multiple complaints. My husband had cancer and was undergoing chemo and radiation even though very sick he was told he should have stayed on the line "no matter if it took hours" This is a quote from a Kyle in customer service. If you want to do a search to see if people have complained please google "ez grant pro complaints". The customer service is rude and I do hope they realize that companies that do this usually do not stay long.

Did not know of additional charges to be applied to my credit card
I agreed to an original charge of $1.25 and have since been twice charged $24.95 & $64.43. I did not authorized these charges and want the money returned to my credit card immediately. I tried speaking with one of your representatives who said it could not happen because 7 days have passed. BULL. Either that money is returned to me or I will be going to the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. No where in the information that I was given does it state that my card will be charged for more than the initial charge. I am currently unemployed and need that money.

Scamming money
I also gave my permission for a one time charge of 1.95 for a dvd to help me control my finances. Since then we have been over drawn in our bank account for nearly 300.00.
They are scamming people for money this program is supoosed to help you get financial help and all they are doing is screwing people. I would never agree to a monthly fee like that i have a hard enough time making ends meet as it is. All I was doing was trying to get new help to lget back on my feet and take care of my two little boys. DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MAKE THINGS WORSE!!!
THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME SHARE MY COMPLAINT,

Fraudulent charges
I signed up for a 21 day free trial of EZ grant pro and was charged 39.95 for a website I don't need or want, before the 21 days were up! I callled to cancel and 30 days later the charge is still on my account. I was also charged via ATM for another service totally unrelated to EZ grant pro called Debt Eater. When I called them they told me EZ grant pro sells their lists to other companies who debit your account!!!
EZ Grant pro and Debt eater are both scams. Don't sign up for either of them!

Unauthorized billing
I found this web site and thought I would take a chance since it was only $1.97 cost for the CD that I never got.
The next thing I know is that they deducted $ 64.43 from my account without authorization from me. I cannot afford this deduction, but it did not overdraw my account.
Now I do not know if they will continue to deduct more money from my account and how I can put a stop to this. Any suggestions?

Billing after cancellation
I signed up for EZ Grant Pro for $.97 and cancelled my membership within 4 days when I started checking out the site and realized that all of the grants that were listed were already past the deadline for application. I was smart enough in advance to copy and paste the webpage of confirmation which detailed the charges regarding the fees for EZ Grant Pro and Debt Eater if it was not cancelled within the appropriate free trial period. I did cancel within that period and the customer service rep assured me that she would send me a confirmation email that it had indeed been cancelled. I didn't think anything of it until multiple charges started showing up. When I contacted them again regarding the charges, they said that they had no record of cancellation and the money could not be refunded. However, I did notice that the amounts that were charged are different than those listed on the website by a few cents. Therefore, they were not properly disclosed. I was also charged additionally by an affiliate company (E-Commerce through their partner, Submit Solutions) for two separate $39.95 charges on the same day for the exact same thing. When I contacted this company, they said that I opted to purchase membership in their website because I did not properly read the Terms and Conditions portion of the original site (EZ Grant Pro). However, too bad for them, I have a copy that I kept which in fact does not disclose this information. I am forwarding this information on to the Federal Trade Commission which has a website online. I would encourage anyone else affected by this company to do the same. This is the only way that this company will be shut down, other than a Class Action, for which I haven't found any information on at this time.
