Failure to receive magazine
I guess I will add my complaint to the long list of growing complaints! On September 15, 2009, I ordered a magazine, OK Magazine, Receipt #F00107378, when a young gentlemen came knocking on my apartment door. I ended up ordering a magazine that as a part-time working college student, I could ill afford at the time. I realized my mistake almost immediately after I saw the bottom line total. I immediately followed the detailed instructions on the sales slip knowing that it was probably a futile effort. Sure enough, my check was cashed and I have never received my magazine. Interesting enough, I just received an e-mail, November 9, 2009, from an individual looking for me to see if I had ever ordered Shape Magazine. It had my name, but her address on the magazine. First of all, I do not know this individual, she knew my situation of trying to cancel the magazine, this is not the magazine I original ordered and she told me this was a scam. I am very upset that you would send an individual apartment to apartment to represent this kind of scam. Of course, no where on the paperwork is a telephone number to contact. You have to wonder why????? Is it because you know what kind of products you do not deliver. If you have the descency to contact me to settle all of this, you can contact me at the number listed on the Receipt number mentioned above. Sincerely, Angelle

not receiving magazine from subscription
I have not bought anything from someone selling door to door in a very long time. When this young man came along selling magazines subscriptions, I was very impressed by his ability to sway me into purchasing a subscription. Of course it wasn't until a week later that I was told FTFT was a scam and don't expect any magazine to come. So back to "No Thank You" and close the door.

no response to order cancellation
Door to door magazine sales man. I made a purchase and then sent the cancellation. No repsonse from the business after 8 weeks, no magazines.
I figure this is fraud.
Anyone else dealt with these hucksters?
