I SENT IN THE APPROPRIATE PAPERWORK TWICE AND SENT IT OVERNIGHT. I CALLED DONNA BACK THE 3RD TIME AND SHE TOLD ME THERE WAS NO MONEY LEFT AND THAT THE OWNER HAD DONE THIS TO MANY PEOPLE BEDIES MYSELF. I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS CONTACTED THE FBI OR STATES ATTORNEY'S OFFICE.

refund scam
I bought a magazine subscription from a couple "Face to Face Technologies" /ACA clearinghouse scam artists that claimed that the subscription was a donation for soldiers over seas. After I gave them a check for $71.00, I went inside, got on my computer an did a quick Better Business Bureau search on this company. The BBB lists this company with a solid "F" rating. I immediately mailed in my cancellation letter + receipt copy to the address provided and I received a response postcard within a week asking for me to send back a copy of the cashed check receipt to a company called ACA Clearinghouse. I returned the receipt copy but I have not to this day received my refund. This happened almost 1 year ago. I was recently approached by another young man in Alhambra, CA spewing the exact same sales pitch for "magazine subscriptions". They walk from house to house looking for suckers to buy non-existent magazine subscriptions. I have contacted my local Attorney Generals office but all they could help me with is finding out that "Face to Face Tech" has filed for bankruptcy. Someone has to stop this company from scamming more people.

never received magazines
I ordered magazines from a teenage girl claiming each sale earns her points towards a trip. We paid $70.00 on November 14, 2009. That was 3 and a half months ago and we never received any magazines. We still have the receipt but when googling the company on the web in search of contact information came upon article after article indicating this company is a scam. Now we are out $70!

Magazine Subscriptions Scam
The guy comes to my door, tonight, a Friday, after dark about 7 pm. Starts selling my wife a subscription for magizines, a bunch of B.S. about earning points for a trip and the mags. are to be donated to the armed forces in Iraq.
I hated hearing the crap this guy was saying, but wifey wanted to donate to a good cause. Duh??
So she pays by check and the guy leaves. I go google "face to face techologies" and a list of RIPOFF REPORTS.
After reading the stuff on the internet. I go outside to try to find the guy and get the check back. He's just two doors down, to my surprise, at Ken's house. So I go confront the guy in Ken's house. In his Face! Gimme the check back, now!. He says he already gave the check to his crew chief. Two doors down?? So, we take it outside. I ask for his ID, and permit to solict. "What, you mean you don't have it?" I couldn't believe it, what the guy was saying. So, we're arguing and I didn't want to let him get around me. Highly stressfull, here I'm saying I'm going to call the cops. And he's starting to freak. I didn't really want to get in a fight, I just wanted the check back. I made the mistake of not pushing down on the ground, he got around me on and started walking quickly down our street. I'm threating him and wanted the check, but he kept saying he didn't have it. Remember he was in my house 10 minutes before I confronted him at my neighbor's house?

As we were walking down the street, me in his face, his buddies drive up in a White Suburban. Now, the tides has turned. I'm out numbered, so I let him get away.

If you ever hear of this company at your door, and you have the balls, call the cops and make a citizens arrest on these assholes. Now tomorrow, we'll cancel the check, close her account and protect her money.

Here's a distrubing problem, . there is some paper work they leave behind, with a very legalsleez ring to it. Creating rules for cancelation of the subscription, threats to charge your account if you cancel, disclaimers to being associated with the armed forces. I'm telling you this is sick, what some people will do to make a buck!

I may have some BS legal problem with these idiots, if they follow through with the supposed contract we have. I really doubt that, if you see the reality of there scam.

I'm just mad, my wife wrote the check.

Door to Door Magazine Sales
Young men going door to door claiming to sell magazines. They will not give you a receipt and they ask you questions like if you live alone and do you have any pets. Also pressure you to give them cash and are rude if you don't purchase a large amount from them.

refund/scam
I had these kids stop by my house back in April of 09 selling magazine to raise points for a trip. I thought I would be nice and help them out, so I bought a couple of magazines. The next day I looked up the company and saw several complaints, tried to contact the company but was not successful. Then the very next day the check was cashed. I sent in my cancellation form withing the 3 days and tried to call and email them several times. Finally they replied to my email saying they did not received my cancellation form. Liars! So I contacted my District Attorney's Office, I gave them copies of everything, receipt, cleared check and fax report. If you ever get scammed by this company or a similar company, because they keep changing the name, Make copies of everything, get all the contact information about the company, document everything and contact your D.A. office. I was very fortunate to receive my full refund 4 months later.
