no refund no magazines!
I was scammed by fast talking sales kids who came to my door when I had just gotten out of the hospital! Mailed cancellation form after they left that same day. No refund! No legitimate contact number. No confirmation call. No history of having ever received my payment or confirmation of payment by magazine. No magazine! I have posted on everysite I can find this companys name! Even the website they use for hiring. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Start a group on this site! Please join my group! Maybe together we can get some results!

Stolen Money
A couple of guys came to my door saying they were selling magazines to send troops overseas. I told them I had no money but they pushed and said that I could cancel if I wanted to if I did it within three days. I sent the form out the very next day and the check was cashed within a couple days. I waited thinking that I would receive a refund or something but have not received anything. I'm a broke single mom and desperately needed that money. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

SCAM ALL THE WAY
Yes i'm sure i've been scammed by the face to face group that sells magazines. I've read all these horror stories about how they give you the wrong zip code so that they dont get your cancellation on time. I sent my cancellation 30 min after i signed up. Since reading all the stories i am going to the bank first thing monday morning to stop payment on that check. I know that the slip i signed says that im subject to a $20 fine if the check doesnt clear, but if i cancel it before the 3 days when i should still be eligible for the refund i should not have to pay the fine right? I have heard that they turn ppl into collections for the fee. These guys are total scammers and im sure that this is what they will do. Is there any way i can get out of the charge considering they are going to lie and say my return slip didnt get there on time? Will the collection agency understand that i was scammed!?? Any advice will help! thanks

no refund
I felt pressured to order magazines when two young girls showed up to my house during dinner time and wouldn't take a hint that I was busy. I have three young children that were hungry and I was trying to get them fed and deal with the two girls. Stupid me, I ordered a magazines for my daughters and finally got them to leave. After they left I realized that financially I can't afford their magazines and sent my cancellation notice the next morning. I have yet to get my refund and I can't get in contact with anyone at their phone number.

Check hasn't been cashed and I havn't recieved my magazine.
I had purchased a magazine subscription for some crack head kid at my door. I should have know this was a mistake. This was three months ago. I believe this to have been a scam! Now my check, with my account number is out floating around somewhere, and I never received my magazine. Again, its been over three months. Every time I call I cannot reach a person to talk to. DO NOT buy anything from these people!

Horrible company
Sold magazines door-to-door. I called the police but they didn't come until it was too late. They sold to my unsuspecting, naive 15 year old daughter for $71.00. I did manage to get rid of them tho because once I called the police, I couldn't find them anywhere!

Magazine Scam Sale
On 1/10/09 I purchased a magazine subsrcription from a youth named Sarah who assured me I was assisting her. The subscription was to begin six weeks later which would have been no later than February 28, 2009. I feel that this was a scam to fraudently take money from people. I want my magazines or my money back. My receipt numer for the purchase is F000420055.

Refund requested for no subscription of The Week being received.
Two young girls appeared to be selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door in order to support their future educational desires in communications. I wrote a check for $57 to Face to Face Technologies for a two-year subscription to The Week. This occurred on 8-7-08 and I have not received the subscription and the check was canceled several days after it was written.
The Internet shows a number of "Rip-Off" listings for similar incidents.
What recourse do I have to receive a reimbursement for this scam of my funds? Please let me know.
Thank you.
