Hi Photography has been my passion and NOT main source of income for over 25 years. I'm a nature and underwater (creatures) photographer and joined MM few years ago to find collaborative talent that would allow me to gain experience and traction in studio photography as the volume of my travels for U/W photography shrank due to cost. During this time I enjoyed the privilege of working with numerous talented people and hopefully I've been able to elevate their ports in the same way they helped me. I recently launched a new website - Dashfoto.com (dashshemtoobphotography.com) to showcase only studio related material; MM users did not care about my U/W photography and dive magazines did not appreciate Fashion and head shots on mt U/W site - Fotonji.com I was very happy to land dashfoto as my domain name as its catchy, easy to remember and contains my name... However, I recently found a long list of scam warnings on the Web related to this domain name and a scrupulous individual who's used it in the past for some very shady activities. if you Google it there are actually several MM posting on this subject. I have no connection or affiliation with this person. I'm actually old enough to be his father! I'm a legitimate and respectful enthusiast with hopes of developing in a new field of photography. i'm a member of CCNY.org and have used their studio on W 37th St for two years now. While this might attract unnecessary and negative attention I rather deal with it and offer anyone who's interested as many references or assurances as necessary.
