I have raced at this race track for the last 7 yrs and this year we received a new promoter and we have raced the majority of our race season and it became apparent in recent weeks that one of our competitors namely Robert Pacey #98 Bomber Driver was and is Cheating as the rules set forth in our rule book The first week out he had 8" wheels.The rules states 7" Wheels, Penalty 20pt. Deduction. In the following Race or two his motor blew up. When he put the new motor in he was Extremely faster than previously and considerably faster then all the other cars in our division. So at that point I suspected at that his motor was illegal I first discussed this with him and explained the harm of his ways and how they would impact our track and division. I then brought my concerned to the track promote. And that night they teched the valve train or the heads and discovered his valve spring were of a bigger diameter then the rules allow and create a performance advantage . He was asked to change them. No Penalty Quote (because he is here every week and was nice about it). The officials at our previous race check the cars for something on the under carriage of our cars and discovered that the 98 car also had Frame connectors Which is not permitted no one was even told of the violation And the promoter and head tech official visited Mr. Pacey at his shop the following week And he was told to remove them. No points were deducted and again no penalty. On Aug 9 I Asked and revived a claim card to claim his engine. In which if you competitor and feel they have an illegal engine you can pay 525.00 and you trade engines. If you deny the claim you lose all your points for the season. I placed a valid claim against the 98 car and the promoter deemed it a invalid claim on the word of his three officials saying I had three crew members in the claiming area . I at that point asked for them to please point them out as I had no crew members there on this night. They would not. I asked again. Again they would not. In the uncontrolled claiming area. Was myself and my wife who was my passenger And we were the only people with my car that night. All of violations on this persons car are as follows and my question is why no points deduction as written in there rules!!! 8"wheels, vented brake rotors, Steering Quickner, 146diameter vavle springs, Knife edged crank, 6"rods, short pistons, frame connectors, and only point penalty to date is 20pts for the8" wheels I ask is this fair???
