I recently had repairs done by Family Auto Body in Henderson, NV. They originally told me that the engine I paid for was new, then put on my invoice that it was a re-manufactured engine. 4 months down the road, I took my vehicle in to a local mechanic shop and they told me that the oil leaks were over a year old and that there is no way it was a new engine. The engine was dirty and the screws looked like they had never been touched. I called Family Auto Body and let them know the information I found out and they responded with the fact that they gave us a deal. Then they followed with threats of extortion charges because I told them I was going to blog their company. This shop overcharged me by at least $3000 and I believe nobody should result to doing business with them. I am going to contact local news channels and business complaint websites so that other people dont get taken advantage of. When it comes to mechanical repair, you put your trust in somebody. This is unfair and should be considered a very serious matter.
