False Charges/Product Not Ordered
It was an e-mail, maybe with a link for "Family Contact 911.com" (PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE-ONLY INCLUDED FOR REFERENCE!). Some kind of Service to link the family in case of emergency. Showed pictures of Firemen on the web page. I am almost sure it came from family, or at least it appeared to have come from family...
Anyway, I remember going out to see the site, but, I did not sign up.
This month I have a 3rd Party billing charge on my phone bill $15.95 set up charge. After 2 hours of phone calls, calling my phone co., then the billing agent (ILD TELESERVICES), and then the actual service being billed for (FamilyContact911) I am still getting a run around on getting this credited back.
The (FamilyContact911) service says that I filled out the web form and signed up for service. I assured them I had not. They say on 2/23 at 4 something AM (I THINK NOT) this was signed up for. After again telling them I DID not, they said that the information was furnished using an external IP address 216.144.131.26. And that I needed to contact my service provider and have them verify that this was not my IP address, before they would credit me back for this charge. They would however, credit me back for the 2nd months charge $12.95 that had already gone out!
As far as I know, they have my name, address, and phone number, not sure what else. I have put a block on my phone bill for no other 3rd party billing. I am almost willing to eat the 15.95 charge just to not have to give them any more info. My fear is what else do they have of mine, and did they get anyone else?
I am looking into filing a complaint, but to who I don't know. Using an IP tracker, I traced the IP address to another internet provider in the area and have their number. But are they a part of it too? Considering reporting to FTC. I am not sure where I am going with this, but if you remember this site, or having gone to it, monitor your stuff closely.

Fradulent charges
The 3rd party billing company (ILD Teleservices) claimed that I signed up online, for the service. When I asked for the order details (the website asks you for the last 4 digits of your SSN), they could only give me date, time, IP address and email address.
The email address was non-existent, but they said they sent me an email confirmation and I had 4 days to cancel the service. The IP address was not mine, I pay extra for a static IP so I know my IP address. The IP address they said I used, can be traced to Menlo Park, CA, I live in Florida!
They then refused to issue me a credit until I could bring them proof that I didn't fill out the online application. They also refused to allow me to talk to a supervisor. I called my local phone company and disputed the charge, they issued me a credit. The burden of proof is now on the Family Contact 911 to prove that I did place the order.
I'm not wasting any more time with Family Contact 911 or ILD Teleservices (the billing company). WHAT A SCAM!!!

Didn't sign up for their svc
Saw a charge on my AT&T bill for ILD Teleservices. Called them, they put a block on my phone # for Family Contact 911 and issued a credit instruction to AT&T. AT&T will credit my account within 3 months.

billed without ordering
i was billed for12.95 two months in a row for a service i did not sign up for. when i called the phone number on my phone bill i was told they don't know how the company got my phone number to bill . ithey have no idea what service it is or how it got on my phone number. i moved 2 months ago and that was when i saw the charge on my bill. it should be illegal for a company to access someone elses telephone bill and put charges on there

Fraudulent Billing
Opened my Phone bill today and there was a charge for $31.90 for ILD Teleservices. Called my phone company and was told it was a charge from Family Contact 911 that they are billing for. Said I signed up for it on the internet. I told them it was completely fraudulent and that I wanted it removed from my phone bill. ATT agreed and will put a block on so they can not try to bill me again.

Spurious billing
A billing of $15.95 showed up on my AT&T phone bill from this company. They had all the necessary information to lead one to believe that I had signed up for their services. Even said they had sent a confirmation Email. They did not!
They refused to credit my account, but did cancel any further billing. They say I still owe them the $15.95.
Not a chance that they will get the money.
