About 6 months ago I was contacted by a company offering me a 1000 dollar shopping spree for subsribing to magazine at 14.95 per month. After it was all said and done I was charged 3 months at a time at 49.90 per month and never recived this shopping spree. I cancelled my checking acount and opened a new one. After that I was contacted by a collections agency, and was scared into giving them my info again to continue payments. So for the last few months I have been tkaing my medicine and living with these magazine I don't want! A few days ago I was contacted again by a women saying that I she was with my magazine company and that I was a preffered customer and she wanted to lower my rates. I agreed considering I didnt want these magazines in the first place. 2 days later I saw that I was charged my normal 49.00 and another 39.00 under a different company. I immidetly called my bank and shut down my card and filled a dispute. I attempted to call this new company that was in Minnesota. After no luck I called family readers club and they told me they were not affiliated with this other company. I don't care if they send collections aggencies after me I am not paying for this new account because I was tricked into agreeing to it. Once my dispute is filled I will be contacting the minnesota better buisness bureua to see what I can do about shutting them down. I don't agree with Family readers club but at least they were upfront about there fucking name!! I want to destroy these stupid companies and everyone who works for them becuase there a disgrace too this country and this plantet!!
