A man with a foreign accent called saying that I was three months behind in my payments and gave me the name of another magazine account that I had that I had been working with because Discover had changed my card number because of identy theft. So I thought this was the same company and they had gotten everything figured out. I told them to pay the three months that I was behind from my new credir card and the new one. Only four were to be paid from this month's credit card.
After dealing with him I said to take the renainder from NEXT MONTH'S payments and we would be settled up. (I have had to deal with him before and he drives me up a wall and steps on my last nerve because he cannot understand English and he should not be talking to your customers because he can not communicate with them). The last time was over one payment that your company had not charged to my credit card and he had threatened to have me put in jail.
I have looked at the activity for your company on my credit card statement and instead of followinf my precise instructions of getting caught up now and then just paying the balance next month, he took the full balance in April 2009.
Would someone in a higher position, PLEASE call me first thing in the morning about this and let's get it straight? The other company has given me a ten percent discount to pay off my account early.
Your company has only threatened me when they were not doing their job and asking the credit card company for the payment and then threatening me.
This is not good business practice and if possible, I want to close anything and everything that I can with your company and do all your advertising in Northwest Alabama for you. I can assure you that there will not be any pleasant comments due to the terror and harrassment that this one individual had given me.
PLEASE CALL AND MAYBE YOU CAN HELP SETTLE THE SITUATION SATISFACTORY!! BUT, PLEASE NEVER LET THAT FOREIGN TALKING MALE CALL ME AGAIN!!!
