Farber conversion of Winnebago vehicle as an employment center pretty much a failure. The vehicle is filled with low quality components and inappropriate RV features such as a large, conventional TV set in the driver's cabin (unit never worked, came loose and had to be removed), ugly and heavy oak trim (on a work vehicle?), poor quality doors and compartment fittings which broke immediately, and the list goes on. The vehicle is a 2005 Winnebago model with 17, 000 miles on it which is in the shop more than it is on the road. The Ford powertrain, engine and transmission is fine, no problems there. Otherwise, the Trac Star Internet antenna has been rebuilt twice, the ACI pancake generator has failed repeatedly and has had to have been rebuilt by the one authorized repair center in the entire state, the jacking system has suffered total failure and has had to have been completely overhauled, two air-conditioners have had to be replaced (one unit twice), the list goes on, from poor quality wiring and a poorly designed electrical system to trim that falls off and mountings for computers (designed for desk and office use) repeatedly failing often resulting in computer failure. The roof seams split open after four years and severe leaking occured in the front cabin. Farber's Internet system is expensive, slow and often non-functional for many web sites due to low broadband. Having driven this vehicle for almost six years I would look anywhere else first before ordering Farber conversion vehicles. The extended costs are astronomical. The down time is HUGE. The 2005 vehicle we use has only 17, 000 miles on it because it spends months at a time in the shop. AVOID!
