I bought a "pre-sell" apartment from Farglory in Taiwan two years ago. When I bought it, they showed me a DVD with beautiful pictures with facilities like spa, library, banquet room, car park, garbage collection center, motorcycle parking area which takes up 30% of my purchased deed.
To my horror, when the building was completed. There are 8 blocks in a upside U form with A, B, C and H, G.F on each side and D, E in the back. Our block G and the next block F do not have any safe passage to the community garbage collection center in B2 and the motorcycle parking area located in B1 and B2. Our elevator even doesn't stop at B1 (No button), our B2 is the community spa and sealed off by a emergency exit door. G block and F block each has 106 units. We have to risk our lives to go from the driveway or other block's safety doors to reach those places. F & G block residents often got locked out and trapped in B2 by other residents when they shut the safety doors because we don't have the access keys. We were all not told about this outrageous faulty design when we made purchases. A Big listed company doesn't uphold it's high standard. And if you are considering to purchase anything from Farglory Construction Co., be careful " What they don't tell you!".
