Tired of the Shaft

They lie lie lie
I applied for a construction loan to build a new home. We were approved immediately. I was told the rate would be fixed for 30 years at 4.15% I asked several times and made sure I was clear on that fact. Now that construction is complete they have decided to raise it to 5.45%. That increases my payement over $240 a month. I complained and was dealt with quite rudely by the loan officer. She was not the original officer but someone that was new to the job. After many phone calls, the issue is still not resolved. They have ruined my credit because they refused to pay off a LAR account with a home improvement place for over 6 months. They would not pay it until they business was going to place a lein on the property. Then all of a sudden they were ready to pay. I was told the reason they wouldn't pay is because they were holding the last 20% of my loan money until construction was complete. In the meantime, creditors are banging down my door. I have asked them to write a letter stating why they wouldn't pay and they are now stating that they wouldn't pay because I was late on my payment. They are such liars. They said they are sticking to their false paperwork and have lied to me the entire time. I caught the loan officer in so many lies I should have seen this coming. I have called her boss, I have called the boss above that person and the one above that. I can get nothing done. I have no money to lawyer up or I would. I would sue them so hard they would have to rename the company after me. They have put us in a real bind. We are in the process of finding new financing and I hope we can do better than that dirty awful company of liars called FARM CREDIT SERVICES OF MID-AMERICA with their office in Eastern Kentucky. Everyone beware run if you can. Crooks and liars abound. I really think they want me to fail so they can take my property. They would stand to make $200k in the clear if they did. I hate them but I will pray for each and every person I deal with that has done me wrong. I hope that someday she looks back and realizes what a horrible horrible person she is. In the meantime, I pray I find new financing.
