I got a bumper cover from “FBODYWAREHOUSE” on Ebay, and it was clearly NOT AS ADVERTISED, so I am honestly stating it’s condition and, personally I think it is JUNK!
www.Fbodywarehouse.com ’s ad stated “This is a rear bumper cover for Trans Am 79-81 in decent shape needs painted etc. Some light nicks and dings on this unit but priced to move”
Furthermore, when I called Fbodywarehouse “Pete” said, “You can just bolt it on and paint it, it’s in great shape! Don’t worry!”
As you can see the bumper cover was NOT as advertised and is TORN underneath where the jack goes, this was clearly obvious yet the and the previous seller did NOT show that in the photo and did NOT disclose that in their action ad/sale,
Also,
It was recently (prior to sale) REPAINTED WITH CHEAP SPRAY PAINT probably put by seller to make it look better in the photo, the paint of which upon delivery was and still is PEELING BADLY,
Also,
There are several DEEP GOUGES and MANY SCRAPES in this bumper cover, also NOT disclosed by Fbodywarehouse.com
In my opinion to make it right for use on my car it would need to be completely stripped, filled and the torn part of the rubber repaired at a cost more than a new one would cost! And then still would likely never be as good as a new one.
This part may be OK for someone with a very rough ‘driver’ car who has a worse off bumper cover… but Fbodywarehouse.com did NOT disclose the defect facts as advertised.

When I bid on it the shipping was overinflated to more than the starting bid of the part! I do NOT think this part to be worth the shipping cost, and Pete at Fbodywarehouse said he’s ship for less, but did NOT! I’m just telling it the way it is!

I would have filed a complaint with Ebay when I could have, but I was still waiting on parts from Fbodywarehouse (same seller), by the time he got around to the rest of my order it was too late! Supposedly DHL lost the 2 big and heavy sway bars, (How is that possible?) and days, then weeks and almost 2 months past, then when I said enough time passed the Seller claimed sway bars came back to him and he’d get back to me, but he did NOT reship nor contact me as he promised, so I NEVER DID GET MY SWAY BARS from Fbodywarehouse and NEVER DID GET ALL MY MONEY BACK EITHER!. Lesson here to be learned is do not wait to give a seller a chance make good on their word, file your grievance BEFORE time runs out!

Furthermore, the seller “Pete” is operating using a woman’s name “Heather” to sell on Ebay, most likely he was banned for similar practices using his name so now hides behind a woman!
Shame on Fbodywarehouse!
