Being punished for reporting non-delivery
Fed Ex Ground claimed to have delivered a package. As luck would have it, I was home at the alleged time of delivery, which I learned about when I tracked the package later that day. I reported the non-delivery immediately. While I received a telephone call the next day asking if I 'found the package". There was no other contact from FedEx.
The next week, i called for a status and was told the driver said it was delivered, only the delivery location was changed from what was originally reported. Since the driver said it was delivered - it therefore was - according to FedEx Ground. My statement that it was not was not important.
To punish me for being a little irked over being told I was a liar, FedEx Ground has been holding subsequent packages hostage (too late to cancel 1, and the second one I was told by the vendor would be through USPS not FedEx).
Because the driver did not deliver a package, I can not be trusted to receive packages unless I am available for a signature. I already lost time from work over one package, and I can not do it for the second one. Because of FedEx Ground's handling of the lost package, I can not trust that they will leave subsequent packages, instead, maybe not deliver again just to stick it to me. After all, the driver who did not deliver is apparently the only driver for the area. If she doesn't deliver and says she did (which is what caused this mess to begin with), Fed Ex sides with the driver - customer be damned!
The funny thing about all this: We have recived countless FedEx's for 15 years at this address and never had a problem . Wouldn't one think that if we were scammers that we would have done it long before now?
I guess the moral of the story is: FedEx ground is great as long as they do their job. But if they make a mistake, it is the customer's fault and FedEx will spare no effort in making that point clear

Failed Delivery
I had a package set for delivering requiring a signature. So I took the day off to be available for the delivery. Left my front door open all day. So imagine my suprise when I checked the website and it show they attempted delivery but no one was available. No notice left on the door, in fact no truck ever drove down the street. Call to complain and all you get is "let me apologize on behalf of Fedex", well thanks but that doesn't get me my package.

Tuition Reimbursement not paid out
I am a former employee who worked at Fedex Ground in Keasbey, NJ from 10/2007 to 09/2008. When I started working at this company, I learned about a tuition reimbursement program that very much attracted me to work there, even though this job was quite a distance away from my home in Newark, NJ at that time. I left the company in late September 2008 due to the fact that I moved to PA. I could not transfer to a Fedex Ground in PA because none was located near my home. When I started working at Fedex I received a booklet about the tuition reimbursement program which stated I had up to 6 months after leaving the company to apply for tuition reimbursement. I just finished my fall semester in college this year and contacted human resources to receive the form I needed to fill out in order to apply for tuition reimbursement and now I have been told that the program was changed and since I am not an active employee anymore, that I do not qualify for tuition reimbursement. Meanwhile, I earned all my credits during my 11 months there, my boss knew I would be leaving the company and moving to PA and he knew I was attending college and did not notify me that I had until September 2008 to fill out the form and apply for tuition reimbursement. Basically, Fedex Ground has screwed me out of my benefits that I earned while I worked there and I am sure they are doing the same to other former employees as well.

delivery
Centon sent me a package and gave me a tracking number, for a Fedex ground delivery. It was nice cause i could track it from California to IL. And then it stops, they say the package lost the documents.Funny the computer can tell you where the package is, but not why it stop.Several emails and they ask me for my address to send the package and then 2 different persons from customer service give me a generic answer.I provided them with my address and phone and yet they can't deliver the package.Great company, worse is they pretend I should spend money so they can deliver a package they have lost or delayed.I tell you Fedex needs help somewhere.Either the delivery section, and surely the customer section.I surely recommend people choose a more proffesional company other than this one that seems to not care or know how to deliver.
