FedEx Lied & Didn't Deliver
I am writing this at 1am after a long night of FedEx misery. My wife was expecting an urgent delivery of medication between 9am and 3pm that needed to be refrigerated (it is middle of summer in the Mid-Atlantic, and 100 degrees today). She had stayed at home to ensure she was there to receive and sign for the package. At 11am she began calling FedEx who confirmed the package was out on the truck and would be delivered. She called again at 3pm when nothing showed up, again they said it was on the truck for delivery. She called at 6pm and once again they said it was on the truck to be delivered. By the time I got home at 7:30pm, I called them to see what was going on. They explained to me that there had been a mechanical fault on a flight causing the delay, but the medication had arrived and was on the truck for delivery that night (why didn't they tell my wife that?) At 9pm I called again as no truck had shown up and they explained that the package was being held at the warehouse and we couldn't get it until the morning, by which time the medication would be spoiled. Upon hearing this, my wife was fuming and calling FedEx straight back. She got hold of a supervisor (Allison) who then spoke to the warehouse manager (Drew) and he said he would go back to the closed warehouse, open it, retrieve the package and deliver it. Was this going to be like those great FedEx ads where they go out of their way to get an urgent package delivered? Obviously not, or you wouldn't be reading this. We waited up until 12:30am, lights on, main door open but for the screen glass door and myself sitting in the living room keeping a lookout. We called FedEx who then proceeded to say that they attempted delivery at 11:53pm but no one was at home. WTF? Really? And you didn't call one of the numbers we gave you on the other 5 calls to say you were trying to deliver this medication that you went out of the way (supposedly) to go get and drive to our house? Or, did you really just get into the system and say you tried to deliver so your ass was covered the next day when we would call the supervisors to find out what happened? What a complete joke this turned out to be. If you had been honest from the beginning and told us that it couldn't be delivered for whatever reason, we at least could have driven to the warehouse to pick it up and my wife would have her medication. Why all the lies, are your agents not trained correctly and only read from a script with no common sense that if it's 7:30pm, it is unlikely to be delivered so hold it at the facility so you can pick it up? Now who is going to take ownership of this complete debacle of a situation? Who is going to pay for the spoilt medication now? I am so disappointed in how FedEx has handled this situation which has upset my wife and I so much tonight. No words remain to explain how badly this was dealt with and the inconvenience this is causing in our lives. - An unfortunate non-recipient of a FedEx package.

Bad Service!
I had a package delivered last Friday but it went to the wrong house! After seeing the package delivered sign on my tracking but seeing no package I had thought my package was stolen until I decided to walk around and saw my package two doors down!

delivery
I paid almost 100.00 for 2 day shipping from FedEx. On 6-27-11 I place my package for shipment and naturally FedEx sat on it for 2 days then shipped the package on6-30-11. Then come 7-2-11 I checked on the package it arrived in Vandalia, Ohio at 6:38 am however, it is now Saturday and I didn't pay for Saturday delivery. Which makes no sense if I pay extra for 2 day delivery it should be 2 days; and last I knew Saturday was still a day. I contacted FedEx and asked if I could just come pick up the package myself. I was told they do not know where in the facility it was and did not have the manpower to track down the package. Which is an issue because isn't that kind of their job??? On top of the fact that they had already listed my package on their site as being there so they had to know where it was by the shipping label which they used to list the package online as being at their facility!! FedEx is the WORST!!! I will NEVER use their service again. They find new ways to charge people extra money to NOT do their jobs! I could have saved time and money by using the U.S. Postal Service and gotten my package 2 days ago when FedEx finally got around to actually shipping it. This is a CRAP company that I HOPE and PRAY goes under!! They are USELESS, OVER PAID, INCOMPETENT, LAZY, CROOKS that are sponging off of all the people who have paid good money for a job they CAN NOT DO!!

So Under Armor used Fedex to deliver my package and I wished they didn't. The packaged was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday so I was home all day waiting for it. It never came so I thought there might be a delay, I checked the status online and to my surprise it said, "customer not available". Usually if no one is home and signature is required they would put a sticky tag on the door, but I didn't see any. The next day Fedex delivery guy ring my door bell and I thought he would be waiting for my signature. To my surprise, again, he just left the package there and left before I could open the door and ask him some questions. In addition, my package has been cut open and taped all around it. Someone at Fedex must had open my package! I really hope businesses stop doing business with them. I always have problem with Fedex and this is not the first time my package was cut open.

THEY ARE A DISASTER
As an endocrinologist I have used FEDEX in the past to deliver sensitive material and medical results and always had problems with them. I did not come here to report a specific delivery but to support all of those customers who have had these similar situations in the past. They are the worst! They will come, not ring the bell and just leave a blank "sticky" at the door; you call and the customer service is awful: they are rude, VERY RUDE - all of them. I've had things broken, not delivered on time, and had colleagues leaving their work in order to go get the packages themselves because FEDEX will NOT deliver the second time. I even sent one day an envelope to myself so it would force them to deliver it to me anyways... It took them 10 days to come back... I am now using UPS and believe it or not it is a relief, they are a lot better. Good luck to all the people out there who trusts them...
PD: and it looks like the problem is global - In Italy, where I live (my hometown) they are even worse

URGENT… PLEASE READ…

FEDEX must be the worse delivering company in the whole entire world. My Credit Card was stolen a few weeks ago. I had paid half of a cruise when this happened and needed the Credit Card to pay the rest before Friday, June 24th. My bank rushed an envelope with the Credit Card to be delivered on Wednesday, June 22nd. Fedex came but unfortunately I wasn't home so I missed them, did not receive the package. The driver left a tag at the door which I retrieved around 6:00 pm when I came home. It said “first attempt” so, the following day, on Thursday, June 23rd, I had 2 doctor appointments, which I cancelled in order to stay home and receive the package. I was waiting all morning at the window and Fedex did not come. Around 12:00 noon I called Fedex and spoke with a lady (don’t remember the name) in order to track my package. She told me the driver would be at my door before 3:00 pm. She took my phone number and according to her, he would call me before he got here.

I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting. My apartment is on the 1st floor facing the street; I was at my desk looking at the street all the time and nobody came, I even went outside a couple of times and nobody came. I called Fedex again… This lady named Linda, who was very nasty, insisted that the driver had passed by, that he had left a sticker at the door, that he had rang the bell and nobody answered… I did not leave my house, the door bell did not ring, the phone did not ring, and there was no tag at the door…This lady was so impolite that she simply did not allow me to talk… she kept on talking over me!

I was very upset… This guy did not even pass on my street… I called again and they said the envelope was at the station in Union for me to pick up. Excuse me?… I told them that if I had to pick up a package, why would my bank pay Fedex to deliver it? So, they said they would deliver it the following day, Friday, June 24th. I had a dentist appointment which I cancelled in order to stay home and receive the package. I went outside and glued the original “tag” on the door with my signature so the driver could leave the envelope at the door… Not that I wouldn’t realize if he came but I simply did not want to see a face of a liar… Well, I was outside cleaning my car for about 2 hours, then came inside, looked through the window, went outside again to clean my windows… Fedex never came. I called the office again and they said the driver had been here but nobody answered the door bell – LOL – I was outside cleaning my car and my windows all morning and nobody came here… According to the driver, he came, left another sticker at the door because nobody answered the bell… LMAO – My old sticker that I had left on the glass was the only one that was there and a big red note saying "Please ring the top door Bell - the one that has my name"… The bell did not ring, the phone did not ring, no sticker at the door and NO DRIVER FROM FEDEX. I called the company again, and again the same story... Finally this lady Suzanne, who put me on hold for over 20 minutes (I thought we were disconnected) she came back, she repeated my phone number and she stated she had contacted the driver and he would re-deliver the package in 35- 45 minutes… I decided to sit outside reading my book “The Old Man And The Sea – Ernest Hemingway”… After 90 minutes sitting outside and my butt being numb I decided to call Fedex again… guess what? “The driver had been at my door and nobody came out... LOL - *** I W A S O U T S I D E ***!!!

At this point, I didn’t know if I should yell, cry, laugh or jump out of a bridge!!!… The point is that this lady Suzanne tells me the package is ready for pick up in Union – only 4 miles from my house… LOL, I am home on disability and cannot drive… This is insane! This is simply unacceptable…THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW

They never came back on Wednesday, they never came on Thursday, they never came on Friday, they never came here on Saturday... I called again and spoke with 4 different people, 2 of them claiming to be managers... They said it would be re-delivered on Monday 27th (today) ... I called 3 times already today ... LOL it is 11:00 PM and they still did not come. Should I continue waiting?

Guess what? This is not the end ... I called the bank today in order to request another Credit Card and made sure they send it by UPS or regular mail and was advised that THE CARD HAD ALREADY BEEN ACTIVATED. This is a crime and it should be punished...

Of course I could not pay the rest of the cruise on time and I am losing over $1, 000.00 I had already paid… I want Fedex to be responsible for t his amount of money lost and reimburse me for my loss. Between Thursday 23rd and today Monday 27th, I made 14 calls to FEDEX in an attempt to solve this matter. They were advised several times that I cannot drive!

I made a complaint online but unfortunately, although they have over 1, 000 complaints, nobody really cares... and Fedex cares less than anybody else... I also made a complaint on Facebook but they banned me from writing on their page and deleted all my comments. C'mon - I thought I was living in USA... but after this, I don't know anymore!

Years ago, Route 22 Honda robbed me and my kids over $9, 000.00 in 3 leased vehicles. That was obvious and I wrote 4 or 5 times to BBB but they did not help me. I hope you can help me this time in solving this problem... Just because Fedex is a big company it does not mean they can go in life using and abusing theirs customers.

PACKAGE NEVER DELIVERED
ALERT - URGENT... It is very sad to see that all the comments posted on Facebook by Ms. Ana Fernandes were removed by Fedex... It looks they don't like to hear the truth *** I know this lady personally and everything she said here about Fedex is TRUE...

This lady was expecting an envelope with her new credit card. Fedex left a tag on the door on Wed 22nd... and after that day, they never went back. She kept on calling Fedex and they always promised they would come back... They never did. She has made so far between 12-14 calls to Fedex to solve the problem, she has been at home waiting for this package which never came. The point is that they assure her that they have been there... how come they missed the big red sign and the original tag at the door asking them to ring the top bell - the bell has her name in BOLD letters?

Fedex employees tell her that she can pick up the package at their station - *** Excuse me? What is the purpose of paying Fedex for delivery if the customer has to go pick up the package...and this is not all... Ms. Fernandes called the bank this afternoon and she was told THAT THE CREDIT CARD HAD BEEN ACTIVATED... A FEDEX EMPLOYEE ACTIVATED THE CARD??? HARD TO BELIEVE??? NOOOOO - **** IT'S FEDEX***** lol !!!

My sister ordered toys for ToysRUs for her kids and after 5 days she had to go pick them up after paying Fedex for Delivery... and I don't have words to qualify FEDEX for the numerous times they left me and my clinic hanging...

As a Physician Doctor, most of the times we rush sensitive material and MEDICAL results to other colleagues and clinics - Fedex sucks!!! - Excuse my French, but Fedex again??? Not me, not my clinic, not my colleagues, not my friends, not my family!.

I just checked the Complaints Board page and Fedex has more than 400 complaints in just one website... Want more? FEDEX IS THE WORST COMPANY OUT THERE... DON'T USE FEDEX OR YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER - :( I am advising Ms. Fernandes to send a complaint to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

And this goes out without saying that I work for one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the country – and I have the power, as soon as I go back to work, to cancel our account with Fedex, which is good only to rip the customers. I already called the bank to advise them not to use Fedex anymore and … I will continue this fight in order for these people not to abuse customers the way Fedex is abusing their customers….

The reason for this letter to the CEO of FedEX is to let you know about a poor customer relations experience pertaining to today’s package non-delivery and the package still missing in action.

Background:

I am the son-in law of xxxxx xxxxx to whom the package was addressed.

Medical supplies were contained in a FedEX shipment to my father-in-law who lives in an apartment complex in Katy, TX. He is 85 and his wife is 86. Both saw the FedEx driver walk to the front door of their apartment and they got up to answer the door. There was no knock on the door and it took them 15-20 seconds to open the door. They found a delivery notice sticky note on the door, the driver was gone and no package could be found. The delivery notice (DT xxxx xxxx xxxx - a copy is attached for your review) was blank – nothing to indicate where the package was left, etc. They looked in the bushes and on the patio – no package.

Separately, I had checked the online tracking information and noted that the package had been “delivered”. No problems assumed based on the website info.

My wife was at her parents this afternoon and was told about the FedEx “dash and run” and about the missing package. She was given the blank delivery notice for further investigation.

Customer Relations:

I called the customer service number on the delivery notice and spoke to a very professional agent. She verified the information on the tracking page and logged a complaint about the driver’s “dash & run” and about the blank delivery notice. Still we did not know where the package was. I inquired about some form of FedEX apology or other goodwill gesture (such as a FedEX Kinkos gift card, etc.). She said that she was not authorized to offer anything. I asked for her supervisor.

She connected me with Hugo (#1900242) and he started making excuses about old people not hearing the knock on the door and explaining that the driver can not wait around as old people get to the door. This was immediately very insulting and had a biased, stereotypical view of seniors. He had no answer as to why the driver did not indicate on the delivery notice the actual package location. He did acknowledge the blank delivery notice was a departure from procedures. He suggested that the package was left with the apartment complex office but would have to talk to his driver to verify. He would not phone the driver while he had me on the phone. We still did not know the location of the package – except it was “delivered”. To whom, where?

I asked him about some form of apology or goodwill gesture. He said that he would not and could not do anything. He rebuffed my request to escalate the discussion to his supervisor. I told him that I would be contacting FedEX senior management to let them know about the break in procedure and his poor customer service attitude.

Requested Action:

Please deliver the package.

Hopefully you can improve the customer experience from your position of leadership.

It is obvious to me that the customer is not very important to your field operations folks and second level of customer support.

Disappointed - Delivery
I recently used Fedex to mail off my transcript request and I ask the customer sales associate can I send a Fedex envelope to my previous College so they can forward my transcript to my new College to get it processed through the mail faster. Plus I asked can I pay for the postage now so my previous College will not have to worry about any postage fees because thats not there problem. The customer sales associate told me Fedex would bill my visa card once the College was ready to see the envelope back. Wow! Maybe a wk later I get a email from my previous College saying Fedex sent them a bill for $41.05 and they would have never sent my transcript out if they knew this would happen plus they placed my records on hold because of all this confusion. So I am very disappointed I was told one thing and Fedex did another. Not sure why the customer sales associate told me I would be billed on my visa by Fedex and it never happen? Please in the future say what you mean and do what you say! I threw the tracking number and receipt away and hopefully Fedex will contact to get this billed paid for cause I am not happy about the outcome of this delivery which was my first time using Fedex for delivery. I used the Fedex in Honolulu, HI.
