They’ve lost my package
I needed to make DVD's out of some concert VCR tapes that I had. So a company out in California mailed me a box with FedEx labelling already on it. I dropped this off at my local FedEx Kinko's -- it's been 20 days now, and according to FedEx, the box was scanned, it made it onto the truck, but after that -- no one knows!
This is such a heartbreaking event for me. These VCR tapes are one-of-a-kind. They truly have no value to anyone but myself and several other people who were awaiting the final product. I have NEVER had a problem with FedEx and this is quite surprising.
I don't blame Fed Ex for this, but a condescending "investigative team member" was really so irritating, she didn't apologize, she just suggested that I submit my claim. Tomorrow I am going back to the FedEx Kinko's where I dropped off that box and see if I can solve this mystery.
By the way, the tracking number is 622874210001272 -- if anyone at Fed Ex sees this and would help me resolve it...
Again, this has never happened to me before and I would like to believe that FedEx can help me find this package again. Thank you.

Terrible home delivery
I will make sure I do not use them again. Trying to run a truck down when you are nearly 9 months pregnant with no resolution *** me off! I called customer service immediately having actually seen the truck and instead of them trying to successfully track down the truck they give me reasons that it may not be the guy - Please I was looking at the door tag and the time. Does FedEx think I'm stupid! I suggest they work on customer service. I work and sitting with the door opened to see FedEx (with no ETA of course) is not feasible! Don't their trifling azzes have cell phones? Don't they think it's a problem when a customer calls less than 10 minutes after the "supposed" delivery attempt!

Poor service
FedEx is useless. I have freight arriving nearly daily and only FedEx causes problems. Their rag-tag ground service is unregulated since they use contract drivers, and air service is only slightly better. The tracking information is always out of date or in error and delivery quality is horrible.
I actually had FedEx call for directions, while a UPS driver was talking to me. I had HIM tell them how to get here and they still showed up the next day!
Now It's 7:00 pm, the tracking says that a package is 'on truck for delivery' Customer service says there is no late time limit for delivery. Any bets it doesn't show up! The driver is probably home having supper.
NOTE TO FEDEX DRIVERS:
The next time you leave a delivery, up on the shoulder of the public road, off of our property, It's mine, and I'll file for a lost package. Maybe your lazy ways will change and you'll deliver it properly next time.

The worst I’ve experienced
I am a buyer for Hilton Hotels, so we use FedEx all the time. NEVER have they arrived to pick-up a package for return due to an error they/'someone' made in the first place. We have had merchandise packed and ready to go for 2-5 months. Finally told them I was just going to toss it out the door...that's when they showed up. Zero integrity...FedEx only about the buck not the item or customer. The worst I've experienced. UPS or DHL all the way. Even US postal is better!! Calling does not help.

Their trucks just drove around and left
FedEx trucks just drive around our area like a tourist shuttle bus and has the habit of dropping packages at the rental office. Did not even attempt to knock at the addressee's doors. It feels frustrating watching and expecting a delivery and sees the FedEx trucks zip right in front of you. My package was sent by the shipper on Thursday under overnight delivery and I have seen 6 trucks just zip through our front door for the past 3 days. Every time I see one, I check the rental office after 30 minutes and I believe every time the delivery person attempted to see the manager she is not available because I asked the manager and she mentioned that during those times I told her that a FedEx truck is sighted in the compound she is out with a customer showing the rooms for future residents. FedEx never knocked at my door. I am retired and stay at home 24 hours a day, never leave the house if I am expecting a delivery. I have surveillance camera in front and I never saw a FedEx delivery person attempted to come and knock at my door for delivery. I always end up calling the front office and pick it up there.

Bad service
I have observed on multiple occasions Federal Express tractor-trailer trucks operating in an unsafe manner. Generally, it is excessive speed, but I have also seen erratic lane changes several times.
When I have attempted to call the Federal Express customer contact centre, they are anything but helpful. They usually tell me I have called the wrong number, even though I am dialling the exact phone number printed on the trailer.
When I am finally able to get a customer service agent from Federal Express to take down my complaint, I have requested someone call me back to acknowledge receipt of my call, but not once have I received a return call.
Several weeks ago, I wrote to the President of Federal Express about these same issues. One of his assistants did call me, but the individual was anything but cordial, acknowledged receipt of the letter, and then terminated the call without even saying goodbye.
Many tractor-trailer trucks weigh as much as 80, 000 pounds, which is 25 times as much as the average passenger car. They take much longer to stop and are more susceptible to high winds. Most of the Federal Express tractor-trailer fleet consists of double-trailers which are heavier, harder to stop, and more dangerous in high winds or wet roads.
From the driver’s seat of my car, it appears to me that Federal Express is not interested in operating their fleet of tractor-trailers safely. Perhaps a letter from your office will persuade them to take highway safety more seriously.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Poor costumer service + dumb company
So, Fedex is deliverying a Laptop to my house. I know I can't be there during
business hours. So, even before the 1st delivery attempt, I called Fedex to tell them that, save them a trip and go and pick up the package myself at their location. Well, the cost. service person on the phone tells me that I could not do that, and that I have to wait until the try to delivery it 3 times before they would take the package out of the truck! Ridiculous!! Called next day, the other stupid person, tells me the same thing again.
So, after waiting 5 days extras to get my computer, due to weekend and no Monday deliveries, when I finally went to get the package, the rep tells me that I should have called and have them hold the package for me!!! Man, I want to scream. Stupid company!! Wasting gas, time and money, when I could have picked up this package long ago!
Fedex sucks, given a choice, I will never use them again!

Why deliver today when there is tomorrow
My package was supposed to be delivered by 6th May 2008. Been waiting for this package since the tracking said "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" at 8:15 A.M. Called FedEx 3 different times, when I told that my package would be delivered at 8 PM, 8:30 PM, 9 PM. At 8:50 the FedEx tracker was updated to 'Delivery exception - Customer not available or business closed '. Upon calling FedEx for the 4th time, I was told that the driver attempted delivery. Why I am surprised, there no missed delivery note outside my apartment.
So after 3:15 hrs waiting for my package at home I see this and a bad response from the customer service that it would be delivered anytime the next day. So yeah I've to stay home all day just that FedEx who couldn't deliver a package which was on truck for 12 hrs would deliver it any given time.
All for FedEx’s motto of 'We live to deliver'. It should be 'We live to Deliver Next Day"

They refused to give me the package I paid for
This is the second package in two weeks FedEx has messed up on. First package they wouldn't leave after it was paid for, and was signed for to leave.
To fix this I phoned them to pay taxes on it as soon as it left the states. Yesterday the courier would not give me the package I paid for because he had no record of the payment made 48 hours earlier. He promised to bring it back the next day and leave it once it was all cleared up but he claimed that I was not home and that it is at the station for pickup.
On top of all this FedEx call centre employees keep telling me that they will call me back after it is clarified but never does.

Bad customer service
I thought FedEx is a reputed comp, no any more...I recently shipped a package with 2 delivery with signature requirement ( as it was an imp. mail) but unfortunately there was nobody at the recipients address, so I call FedEx to make it without signature. The *** tells me that she will do the needful and it’s all taken of. Well, next day to my surprise it shows that the package still needs the signature. So I called again and now she wants a fax letter to be sent. Now how the *** do I send a fax, I don’t have one at home. Does not matter to them, they don’t care if u r not able the fax...that’s the reply that I got from the supervisor. It’s unbelievable, they don’t realize that I am paying so much so that it reaches on time, I should have just gone by the USPS, they r much more reliable
