I am dissatisfied with the Customer Service that has been provided me over the last 3 months. Briefly, my issue was that I had apparently signed up for a World card that did not entitle us to gas rebates. I wanted it switched back to the Platinum Plus card . I was told I would be issued a new number. Actually, this whole process has taken over 2 months to get the new cards issued. We have not activated the new cards and do not wish to do so.
Rebates since September statement have not been clearly identified on our printed statements. I was told that we would receive rebates from September purchases on October statement and October purchases on November statement. This didn't happen.
Each call to customer service was treated as the “first” regarding our issue, and seemed to be misunderstood at some level. If I had received new cards in a timely fashion after the first call, all of this confusion would not have occurred.
No follow-up came from customer service regarding the status of the issue, thus the need to call repeatedly to find out why nothing was showing up online nor new cards until the very last call I made in November.
