ripped off
we set up reservations through the ffestiva reservation group through a time share for a vacation trip to myrtle beach. we made our reservations and paid our money up front to reserve our condo in myrtle beach sc 5 months before our trip and gave them our dates that we would be staying and leaving. everything was set up just a couple of weeks from us leaving to go on vactaion we just happened to check our email and it said recomfirm our dates . so we call and recomfirm our dates they then said i am sorry but your condo will not be available for you to check in unitl sunday keep in mind that we are arriving on saturday and paid for saturday through saturday, i replied to them what how is that when we booked this 5 months ago and gave you our dates, they replied back and had nothing to say but we will try to find you a place that you can check in on saturday. few secs later he comes back on and said that they did not anything, , so i called back again the next day and talked to a diffrent person and told them what has happened and said if we didn't checked our email when we did we would of have left to head to myrtle beach and not know anything about not having a room for saturday night. after raising heck the got us reservations at another condo for the dates that we was suppose to have anyways.well on our way the welcome center calls us and ask us if we had anything showing that we live togther like a bill or a letter or anything and i replied no we sure don't and that we are an our away from myrtle beach and they was like well you need to call your reservation place back and see what they can do for us. so i called them back and told them what was said from the welcome center and the customer service lady was like well since you don't have anything that so that you live togther you don't qualify for the special rate keep in mind that no of this was ever said prior of making any reservations or after complaining earlier before our trip that we need anything like this and i told the reservation customer service lady this also so see then replies that we can keep our reservations but i would have to pay another 135 dollars to make up for no qualifing i was very upset at this time. so i payed for it and i then asked to talk to the head boss of the company imagine this and how convient this was he wasn't in. so we finally make it to the condo place and later find out that we still have to pay for sales tax and another tax so it cost me another 135 dollars that they didn't inform us about either. if anybody reads this i suggest not to use this group and i am still in touch with the beeter bearu about this matter.
